I am stuck trying to shoot at veranda. When I look in the telescope and try to shoot something, she says that he must have left the veranda. I think I have tried everything to make him come out, but he just wont! Any ideas?

Be sure that Amanda knows that she needs to get the manager out of the way so that she can get up the hotel room.
At the Inn - try to get the letter, get turpentine and go up the stairs at the Inn; you can now try to get the manager out of the way and he will come out to the veranda.

Shoot one of the vases, the innkeeper will come out to the veranda.
Then shoot the hanging vase, he will step away from the door. Now shoot the wedge that's keeping the door open. The innkeeper is locked out now.

Solved! I shot with right mousebutton instead of left! I am so stupid. But thanks for all your help. :-)
