I purchased both Shadow of the Servants and Beyond the Spirits Eye from WRF Studios last year. I played "Servants" straight away without any operating problems. Having enjoyed it so much I decided to save "Spirits Eye" as a future treat.

When I came to play the second game it would not run and I contacted Bill by e-mail. He replied almost by return and suggested I retry the first game. This would not now run either with the same fault.

After many e-mails back and forth over almost a month, and much effort on Bill's part he narrowed down the problem to a codec clash. Suggested how to overcome it, and Eureka!, back in business.

I have had problems before with mainstream developers/producers and have e-mailed the support addresses, often without the courtesy of a reply, let alone a solution.

We must continue to support people like Bill, who not only develop superb games, but commit themselves to ensuring their patrons get excellent support.

To quote Bill in one of the e-mails "it actually probably bugs me more than you that you are unable to play the game"

You can't ask for more than that.

Gordon, I have had the pleasure of dealing with Bill personally and I couldn't agree more. He is a very dedicated developer who follows through to make sure the gaming experience with his games will be a joy to all who purchased them. I am happy to hear you are now able to enjoy the game. It's one of my top all time favorites!
