When you mentioned getting eaten, the Zork series popped into my mind. I haven't played the game yet, but I remember from screenshots and a reviews that you had to help a ghostly bride. I figured that could have the been love aspect you mentioned. Of course, there's love in ZGI, too, but it's not exactly spiritual. This is a clue to a place you visit in the game: vehicle + duplicate via wires

No, it's not that one, Skeeter. Think of synonyms for the 2 clues above, then combine them into a word.

Very good, Shany! The clue was a reference to Carfax, Dracula's house in London.

Thanks. This was fun - finding out that there actually is a place called Carfax, then finding what game it was in...
Ok, this next hint it misleading - It's not the game this song appears in.
There's a monkey in my pocket and he's stealing all my change. His stare is blank and glassy, I suspect that he's deranged.

I think Forever Worlds has a monkey in it, too.

My first idea was "flighty temptress." Dumbledore says it in Half Blood Prince: And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure. The others were quotations I uncovered that also describe "adventure."
