When you mentioned getting eaten, the Zork series popped into my mind. I haven't played the game yet, but I remember from screenshots and a reviews that you had to help a ghostly bride. I figured that could have the been love aspect you mentioned. Of course, there's love in ZGI, too, but it's not exactly spiritual.

Bernard. I had linked 'spirit, aesthetic & soul but was waiting for the next title, then when 'temptress' appeared I thought biblical maybe? & then got thrown completely by the next 2 titles!

My first idea was "flighty temptress." Dumbledore says it in Half Blood Prince:
