Is there anyone out there that is playing the game that is called experiment. If so, I would appreciate if someone can tell me the code. When you click on the oven in room 2P05. So I can get into the oven. I would appreciate any help I can get. Norm

It does not show up in the walk-through I looked at it and it's not there or I'm missing it someplace. If you know the code I would appreciate you write it down formally.

If you take a look at looney4labs's post a little way up this thread, you'll see a grey spoiler box. Click on the word "Show" and the code will be revealed. wave

Hi norm -- we've updated the walkthrough recently, so if you printed it up a few weeks ago, you may want to take a look at the current version.

The Experiment seems to play slightly differently each time through -- this made it hard to write the walkthrough! You'll see comments occasionally in the walkthrough where it's noted that in the first playthrough something worked, whereas it didn't work in a second playthrough. I'm sure there are still ways to play the game that haven't been discovered and mentioned in the walkthrough.

Norm,

Are you asking about the underwater part (inside the bathyscape) and 3 locks?

I merged your 2 threads together. Please use this thread for this game. Thanks.

I remember extending the arm first, inserting the arm straight to the hole at the center of the lock and immediately entering the code. See if you can do that and if it works for you. It did work for me after several tries in inserting.

Check the document that shows the plan of the bathyscape and see if it has the targeting sketch in there.

Norm -- there should be an "on" button near the lower right of the control panel. Clicking it should make the arm extend a bit to help with the targeting.

Maybe I am in the wrong place. There are several pole's and I hatch is that the right area, where do I find the keys. I don't know of on looking in the right place is the key in that box with the cables, not of it.

Norm,

I think the word 'keys' is a misnomer. You have to be in the area with 3 locks. The arm has to be inserted in each of those locks. Then enter the appropriate code as the keys. Then the center hatch should be opened.

Hi there MaG I found the locks okay. Now I really ran into a real problem two of the locks. I was able to put in the code, but the third lock. She says, perfect, but the box for the code only stays on for about one second. I've done this about 10 times now, and it happened every time, she says perfect put in the code no can do. do You think someone out there. Can think of a reason why does this hope. Someone's got the answer

Hi norm -- I had this happen to me too, and I had to just keep trying until the box stayed there long enough to input the code. frown As soon as the box disappears, try to fit the "arm" into the key again to get the box to reappear.

MaG thanks for the save game. It sure did help. This game sure it is flaky. I have a little trouble finding the save games on my computer. I have a vista operating system, and I'm new to it. It took me a while, but I found the save games eventually. Thanks again for the help.
