If you are interested there is a downloadable version of that map you can have available off-line. Here is the link: Morrowind Interactive Map At the moment it looks like they are having a bit of website issues as I can't open the site. Hopefully it will be available later.

Either way, you can stash it with Mr. Creeper and if you need it again, you can always trade it back.
But congrats on your first Grand Soul Gem. What are you going to make with it? Not sure what I'm going to make with the soul gem - I've never captured a "soul" before

This lady I am escorting to Ghostgate is driving me nuts, wish I hadn't noticed her as I was already lost. I was trying to find the Ald'ruhn ladies dead brother, hopefully I won't forget to get back to it. He is supposed to be near Mallapi, is that a cave or a tomb? I sure couldn't find it, trying to not use the coordinates. I already lost this lady once, the winds are blowing dust all over and I can't see (had to go back to a save). Right in the middle of all this, I leveled up to 4, with her nagging at me, I think I may kill her.
What kind of magic spell to use?

Have you checked one of the on-line maps mentioned in a couple of posts above? They're pretty good for locating places. I hated those escort quests. I never have solved some of them. There are apparently a lot of helpless people standing around Vaardenfell waiting for a hero to get them something or take them somewhere. I usually ignore them now -- although the Nude Nord is difficult to ignore, I have to admit. I usually just leave him standing by the road and wink as I walk past.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I "know" where it is, approximately anyway, it is not too far from Mr Horse Mouth and south of a tomb, but I can't find it, nothing new. On the map it looks like it is in a bunch of rocks. If I get too frantic, I will use the cheat just to put it on my map, then cheat back and start over. I got one of those rain all day long in the area so that didn't help.
On the escorts, I am just a pushover, most aren't too bad and listen when I tell them to stay put, but this one is mouthy and annoying.
edit here: after all that trouble, me killing cliffracers like crazy and all sorts of other creatures, I must have accidentally whacked her while fighting and she turned on me. Stupid, she is now dead and stripped, should have done that in the first place, hmmmph!!! Now I have to go back and figure out where the heck I was, at least I made 500 gp!!!
Enough for today and tonight, back into it tomorrow.

Hi I'm not very good with escorts either - I either can't locate the destination or lose the person I'm supposedly escorting The last time I was playing the game I met a woman who offered me the Boots of Blinding Speed but I was very suspicious of her and wandered off to think it over (without saving my position) and then the game crashed !! I don't know whether to try and find her again or not. Could take me a week or so of traipsing [I have found the game does crash - and quite frequently - especially if I deviate from the marked paths in mountainous areas ] BTW .... Thanks TM for the info regarding the downloadable map version Cheers. Mad

Mad if you look at the Cartography of Morrowind map that Trail posted, she is a little to the East of Sjorvar Horse-Mouth's place with the Guars, the ones that don't hurt you. It is an easy quick escort to Hla Oad and you get the boots, which even if you don't wear them cause all goes dark, the are worth $500. If you see something threatening, she will wait if you tell her to so she doesn't die. Even if she does you can strip her, maybe she even has more gold. That is around the same area I am looking for Mallapi, I can find people easier than places. There are quite a few people out there looking for help. A guy with some shirts to take to Ald'ruhn, a paralyzed guy, some other lady (forget what that was about). I usually accept the job, then tell them to wait while I do other things, hey it is my game!! But this last one was in an all-fired rush, good for her that she died.

Hey Folks We are nearing the high-water mark so I'm closing this one and I've opened a new thread for us over here.
