I also had the hardest time here and dread the replay.

The color bar on top is the progression of the puzzle. The aim is to get it to the right completely. See that if you are wrong it goes back to the left.

The sound code you can hear.

The color code is more difficult - they show up all over the place and have to scan the area to see if there's any change.
It could be the bulbs, the lines on the sides of the stage or the base of the stage.

Also be sure that your click changes the dance, sometimes it doesn't take (for me anyways).

I must have danced forever.

Sheesh, my game hasn't even arrived yet and I'm already dreading this dance part.
I DO hope one of you have/get a save right after for the rest of us, lol laugh

On the way, Roolies.

I will replay and have a junior save sometime later that will follow the walkthrough that is in the process of being written.

I finally got through the dancing, but it must have taken 10+ tries. What finally motivated me is knowing that the only other way to earn serious money (as opposed to just finding a Euro here or there in the street) is to sell the flowers from the 'Ca balcony, which involves smoking out bees just as in Crystal Skull. My wrist and nerves are still traumatized from having to do that *last* year, and I'll do just about anything to avoid that little bit of arcade joy this time around. eek

I found the color cues too varied and unpredictable to really follow--focusing on the sound cues was ultimately what worked for me. Fortunately, once you've got the cat suit it's yours to keep. You'll make more money or less money depending on how well you perform each time after that, but as far as I can tell you can't be fired.

Does anyone else find it funny that squeaky-clean Nancy is basically working as a go-go dancer in Venice? lol

Kristi

Hi C65candy,

Save the file to your desktop. Then open up the saved game folder in My Documents. Copy and paste the saved game across from the desktop into your game folder along with all your other saves. Start up the game and load the new save. smile

Hey all, on the dancing.....you don't have to click to make her move to the music.....just be fast to change to the next option. I listened to the sounds and watched the bar at the top of the screen. Keep your mouse poised by the sound keys; there is kind of a pattern so you can anticipate your next move. You too can be the proud owner of a special cat suit that is sure to come into play later.... cool
I'm back on the case. Thank you Ana, I did make it through that lock puzzle....whew! thanks Gaily

What am I missing?
Thanks for any tips! Gaily.

gaily, you need to look at the inside of the cabinet door at the poster and find the mask that matches and type that name in.

The name of the mask is
Click to reveal..
il capitano
. When you finish typing it will automatically let you in.

I'm in the costume store in Compo Santa Maria Formosa looking for the tracking device the police hid for me, but can't find it.
I sure could use some help. How much bird seed should I feed the pigeon? Thanks
Richard

kjos, it's right next to the box of expensive shoes. Save before clicking so you don't waste 60 lire on pumps.

Mix the tracking device with one purchase of food. That's all you need.

Holy moly, I didn't think that I'd ever get out of there with the sapphire. I'm playing in Junior mode, in case anyone needs a save. luck

Richard, pumps are shoes, sorry. :ooops: It's the brown box with the black ladies shoes on the side. The tracking device is on the right, practically touching the box.

gaily, you need to contact Gina in Francos (?) office via the chess game on the computer.

I just finished the game....whew.
