They are hard to describe, but they are point and click adventures. You play as Nancy Drew and have to solve the mystery.

It is not a Hog or like Azada. It is a full size adventure game.

Check the Reviews post here and also the Walkthroughs so you can get an idea of the game play.

I really like them.

Hi Terri and welcome to GameBoomers.

The Nancy Drew Games are all adventure games featuring Nancy as the lead. There are quite a few of the games and they come out with a new one usually twice a year.

They are nothing like Azada or HOGs.

You can find reviews for all the previous Nancy Drew Games on this page. Just scroll down and click on the links for the Nancy Drew Games. They should give you a great idea about the games. wave

I'll transfer this to the Adventure Forum where you will get many more opinions.

I absolutely love all the Nancy Drew games!

I started out in PC games with one of the Tomb Raider game (#2 as I recall) and while I loved the adventure and exotic locales I had to find my way through, I hated the shooting and fighting aspect (especially when it cam to those big bosses!) so finding Nancy Drew was a God send. ND may not have quite the variety of environment that Tomb Raider has, but it does have great stories, challenging (but usually solvable) puzzles and bunches of fun mini-game (Venice’s Scopa and all Jane’s games in Blackmoor being my favorites). I’d encourage you to give one of the Nancy Drew games a chance. smile

I liked "Curse of Blackmoor Manor" best. I get lost easily, so keep having to travel to the same places many times is a little tiresome sometimes.

I also love nancy Drew games, just got done playing the last,
have played every one, I was glad that my first was an earlier one
even though it had been out a while, think it was 4 I went back and picked up the first 3 then onward, it was GREAT when I had 5 or 6 on hand, now I am with everyone else waiting for the next release, its like a mystery novel, that I am a part of, good puzzles too, for me not to easy or too hard... some humor and a good few days of Play..I always learn thing too, although its not too time consuming, my favorite for this is the Secret of the Scarlet hand, set in a Museum about the Maya Culture, and
some of my Fav's are Secret of Shadow Ranch and Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon, Have fun!!!

I love the Nancy games, Haunted Mansion still holds the title of my fave though I do like all of them!! You do learn a lot whilst playing about the cultures and areas the game is set in.

I started playing with my granddaughter and now I play with her but when I am alone I play them too. I have played them all and I love them. I know what I am going to get with Nancy Drew and I don't have to worry if it will make me dizzy or not. The puzzles are great and now I am hooked on scopa, its a game in the Phantom. I even looked on line to see if I could get a deck of cards...LOL I saved the PC game so I can go back and play with Nico...I know I am nuts..LOL

I like Nancy Drew but sadly I have never got right to the end because they always seemed to have a timed puzzle that I can not get thro'. I notice that Amazon UK has another title for pre-order called The Castle at Mallory. I wonder why this one they have issued in the UK first instead of the USA first?

Has any one seen any little gray cells around as I think I've lost some? Reward for finder.

I love the Nancy Drew games. They're pretty fun and not too difficult. Kinda like a game version of a summer novel. My favourite is Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake with Message in a Haunted Mansion coming in second.

I just wish Herinteractive would do away with slider puzzles.

Slider puzzles are easy. grin ND games should do away with cooking and chores. Not to mention the timed bits. Those are extremely annoying. evil
