Hi Giovanna,

Did you manage to find your saved game folder per the instructions I included in my e-mail? (There is a similarly titled folder in Program Files, but don't be misled, that one doesn't carry your save games.)

If you've found the folder, have you renumbered the save so that it appears sequentially last? wave

For 2 days now I'm trying to find the saved games folder with no success. I have done everything as you have told me. I have found the file Focus-Frogware but nowhere the saved games.

Where are hidden? Yours where they were? Under what name?Propably I will try to find them in the same location.

I have perform more than 10 times research in my computer even in the hidden ones, with no success. Why they have to hide them I really do not understand.
confused

Hi Giovanna,

In XP, the saved game folder is here:

C:\Documents and Settings\(computer name)\Application Data\Games\dracula\save

If you can't find it there, then your folder might be hidden, so you might try this:
Open a folder - any folder.
Go to Tools at top bar. On the drop down menu, select Folder Options.
Go to View on the new frame.
Look for that folder icon with 'Hidden files and folders'.
Select or tick on - Show hidden files and folders.
Then look for the C:\ file as above in bold.

I will try again and I will let you know, but I'm afraid that I will not be able to do it.

I feel so frustrated. I have bought this game, and I really want to finish it. Why they have to hide my saves games? The game is mine now or not? Propably not!!!!! sick

Good luck finding the save folder, Giovanna. You are playing this game on XP? I do not know where the saves might be if you are using Vista.

If you cannot find the folder then I would suggest going back to a previous save game at the start of the Turk's door puzzle, and playing it step by step against the walkthrough. Don't give up on this great game, keep trying - you can do it. luck

Not sure if it is a glitch or not, but I've tried to get the compass key on the safe downstairs in the manor towards the start of the game. I'm using XP, it says in both walkthroughs that the code is: se-e-n-se-n-se-n-e-n-s-se-e

I've tried that combination about 3 times now. The walkthroughs says the safe is supposed to open and reveal a key. I've tried all I can think of and it just sits there. Is this a glitch, is there something I'm not doing, or what?

If you want the short cut: Just changed the bars on the top left and bottom left the colors that is stated in the walkthrough.
The rest of the procedure is the explanation of how you got those colors.
