HI- I have played the demo for this, it was on Reflexive Arcade News on my email. It is really good. Does anyone know how long the game is? I am going to check Big Fish and see if they have it, it would be cheaper for me with the club. Thanks maggie I did not find this game on Big Fish.

Hi- Thanks for the information, I just do not want to pay $19.99 for it and I will not. I would love to buy it. Maybe I will see it at walmart someday for a decent price. I have bought all my games like this from BF and really like them and the prices. Thanks again maggie

I paid $19.99 for it through Spin Top. The most I can say is that it was "okay", but certainly not worth $19.99. Teddo

I was wondering about this game. I saw a review for it ***here*** that made it sound like a mini-adventure.

I bought Ghost in the Sheet from BF but haven't played it yet. I got the Blackwell games from the author. Waiting for the third one.
Currently Playing: Adventure Game: Broken Age Darkside: Star Wars: The Old Republic

Does anyone know how long the trial for Crystal Portal is? Is it an hour or only 30 minutes? Also, Big Fish doesn't seem to have it. Is it sold anywhere that gives a price break for buying more than one game? Where did you buy the Blackwell games from?? Probably from here http://www.wadjeteyegames.com/blackwell.htm

Maggie, I've never bought a large game from BFG, so I'm not sure about getting the CD. But I bet you could email them and ask about it. Jenny100, I haven't found any info about the length of the demo, but will keep looking

I played Mystery of the Crystal Portal through my Gamehouse subscription. It was a good one, but barely medium length.

I pay a monthly fee at Gamehouse rather than buying games outright. Members can download and play an unlimited number of games with a Fun Pass, so no demos needed.
Crystal Portal was above average by my standards except for the length. I didn't take note of the exact time the game lasted, but I consider any game that lasts 3 hours or less to be medium length.

Maggie, I didn't find anything about a club at the SpinTop web site.
ScarletD, 3 hours. Thanks. To me, that would be short. But, of course, I'd think playing time would also depend on how fast one plays--I'm a pretty slow player.

looney4labs, I didn't notice if anyone answered your question about how long the demo was. I got the game from realarcade and the demo was 60 minutes like most others.

L4L: I'm an obsessive maniac the first time through a game and I play very quickly. On this game, my BIL and nephew's wife were helping and they are very quick at spotting hidden objects also. It's a miracle we didn't finish it sooner!
