The Herb Garden 3rd visit. The walkthrough says that after opening the gate and going forward the gardener should be "enjoying himself fishing". He's not there and I've restarted from different saves about five times. I must have missed something but can't find what and my brain is starting to fry.

If I remember correctly, you have to go forward to the end of the middle path to see the gardener.
Let's wait for someone with a fresher memory of the game to help you concerning the trigger.

Check here for old thread.

Hi blackbird,

Have you closely examined the creaky floorboard underneath the carpet in the secret room in the Liedberg's house?

Reason being, there is a conversation trigger for a crowbar that you have with the gardener while he's fishing, and unless you've examined that floorboard, then you won't know that you need one - and the gardener might not appear. smile

I hope that helps.

I don't remember examining the creaky floorboard. That might be the problem. Thanks, I'll go and have another try.

The gardener is there! Thanks heaps for your help.
