I am at and have been at the prison cells for awhile. When he has "to hide/someone's coming" your posts have said that as soon as can use cursor to control him turn around and go into prison cell or elec room. I cannot cannot get him to go into either door no matter how quick I try. Have tried doing what other postings recommended. Could someone please send me a save so I can go on without turning gray. Thanks

I don't have a saved game for that part.
I do have a saved game I think at the room at the end of the hallway.

I think you can do that 'hide' part.
Turn around and then forward.
Do not enter the first set of doors, go to the next set of doors and enter on either one of those.

Thanks. You were so right. I was trying to go into wrong doors.
You're such a great help.

Tom,

I don't remember how the saves worked in the game. We'll have to wait for someone to help you. wave

Unzip folder. Relabel saved game to be the last in the save folder.
Place in save folder found inside the Darkness Within folder.
Play-load game as usual.

Double check the cases, period and spaces of the renumbered savegame## and shot##.

If that doesn't work, I can send you the next saved game - morning after the puzzle.

thanks. Got the save. Question: should I delete the other save you sent before trying to use this one? Still learning how to do this kinda stuff.

If you could not get that one to work - - yes remove it and see if this new one that you renumbered will work. luck

It worked...only thing I am missing that I had is the scarab insect and the green rolled leaf. I hope I don't need them in the future to do something. Otherwise, all is well. Thanks

Those items disappeared from my inventory too, Tom, it won't affect your gameplay so don't worry. smile
