I am also waiting for a walkthrough for Outcry. How far did you get? Maybe we can help each other.

In Games Discussions MrLipid says
Quote:
There is a walkthrough. It just happens to be in Russian. A link to it can be found Here. Use Google's handy-dandy translation feature.

I used the translation and it is readable, I don't have the game yet so I don't know if it is right.

Trying to figure out why my capsule won't go anywhere. Is there a clear indication in the basement when you have the wheels turned correctly? I thought it was when the noise level was the loudest - is that right or no?

I realize that not many have played this yet, so just wanted to let you know I'm not in any hurry. Probably won't retrace my steps to see what I missed until later today.

Nickie, the valves don't give any feedback to the player when they are set right. You can check that they are set right when the second light (above the panel of switches) is lite. I'm not in front of my notes at the moment I think the code is
Click to reveal..
6023
. This is the number of clicks on each valve from the off position. Just to the left of the valves you can see the direction arrow to turn the valves on.

Try Babel Fish

I use this only on single sentence or phrase or paragraph so far.
But there is a url entry frame. So get the url of the page you want translated and enter it on that frame.
Then on the drop down menu select Russian to English.
See if that works. luck

In case some might have missed it, if you click and hold the left mouse key, you can pan more efficiently. Notes are left everywhere and if you miss one it will be difficult to solve a puzzle or follow the story. All the puzzles are logical. If there are any questions or explanations, I'll be hanging around because I can now (thank-you Bell).

The link to the Russian webpage for Outcry (Sublustrum)needs to be translated too. On the Google search page I choose "language tools" and then entered the url for the webpage. Once on the webpage I found the walkthrough (called passages)and went there. Then I entered THAT url into the Google language feature. A few parts are hard to figure out since the translation is sometimes quite hilarious but now I'm stuck at the "key" part.

Well, it was something simple of course.
Click to reveal..
I neglected to replace the fuse. grin

Have another question now though. I'm in the alternate reality, I received the phone call, placed the gear outside - but I don't see what it has done. I peeked at the walkthrough, and it says to
Click to reveal..
change the levers on the machine across from the phone, which I did, but I still don't see a change anywhere. What do I need to do to see the dog scene?

rotfl Oh amarisse, I was responding to what I had written before because I had been stuck at the same point, and didn't even see your question! That is too funny, that you were asking that very question. Glad it helped anyway!

Hi Nickie, if your still stuck after replacing the gear:
Click to reveal..
go back to the machine with the levers. The lever on the left selects which bridge to swing when the lever on the right is moved. Before replacing that gear, bridge two couldn't swing. Now it can.
