The closest save I have is after the completion of the library challenge which directly follows the illumination puzzle. Hope that will be ok for you.

Thanks for the 2 saves. Ok, I am now down in the water looking for the bracelet. I have felt through the foot of the skeleton but there is no bracelet. What do you mean by feel through??

Has the monster growl and you came out of the water?
If so, light the torch and try again (maybe using the forked stick).

I am having one heck of a time solving that rearrange the paintings thingy so I can look at Martha's box again and open it.I give up for the nite,maybe someone can please send me a game save after sloving it.

cigar, follow this section from the walkthrough and you'll be moving forward again in no time:

From left to right, starting at the head of the bed, place the paintings on the wall in this order:

Gymnosophist - A4
St Sebastian - A7
Funeral of Patroclus - B6
Martha and Maria - AD8

Examine the paintings by clicking on them. Use the enlarger-magnifying lens on the painting and note that each have references at bottom right of the frame.

Look close at Martha's box again and enter 4 - 7- 6 - 8

The problem I am having is finding the empty spot on the floor by the wall where the Martha and Maria painting was kept covered to lay the paintings down at.

Hang a picture above the dresser first and then you can find the empty space behind the box left of the dresser - on the floor.

I am trying to find the panel to get more acetic acid to turn the green light on,were is this panel.

The panel is in the middle of the battery box with the red light. Click on it, and it will open. The battery box is on the floor below the refrigerator.
