With your back to the ladder, look across on the opposite side of the path. A little way across to the right you should see an opening - enter through here and turn immediately left. Move forward and you'll come to the open grave where Pibody fell in. luck

No you climb the stairs and into the second room. Remember the room that you had to move the dresser to block the door - I think that's the one.

deleterman,

From the WT, "Read the note found on the left side of the bench. Put together the Anti-Vampire System, Dr. Seward describes. Read the backside for instructions on how to use the setup."

I don't remember this part but from this section, it seems the instructions are on the backside of the note found on the bench. luck

Deleterman,

Are you sure you're setting the frequency at the right setting for the gargoyle? The WT mentions 3 gargoyles but they all have different frequency settings. think wave

Did you look at the last page of the red book?

When you see a gargoyle:
1. Get the frequency (the green light is on the apparatus).
2. Move the right dial to the frequency reading of 6, click on the right transmission switch.
3. Focus the antenna on the gargoyle and click.

The places where the gargoyle's are located:

1. Face the main cemetery door, turn left, forward and left. Then check the top of the mausoleum on your right.
2. Face the main cemetery door, turn right, forward until the corner of the wall. Check the top of the wall at the corner.
3. From the wall gargoyle, turn right. Go forward until the end of the path to the end. Turn right at dark mausoleum - check the top part of the door.

Unless you have a map of the EXACT locations of those d.....gargoyles will never be found. They are so blurry you cannot tell what they are. One is in the corner up on top of the wall if you face the main gate and go right down to the corner and look up at the top of thr wall at the blurry thing that's one

They are wolf gargoyles, you need to zap all 3 of them. smile

Use the crank and turn on the apparatus while you are walking around the cemetery. It will appear bottom right of your screen. Move your cursor around the likely places in the cemetery to locate those gargoyles. When your cursor passes close to a gargoyle you will hear a sound from the apparatus. Then follow MaG's instructions above. luck

Apparently I didn't write down the location of the gargoyles so all I have that might help is this:

INSTUCTIONS FOR USING THE MECHANISM TO DESTROY THE GARGOYLES!

(1) In inventory combine the handle with the mechanism to wind it up.  Only have to do it once.
(2) Look at the mechanism in inventory after winding it and click on the bottom left button to have it show the frequency of the gargoyle once you've located one.
(3) Having clicked on that you will be back into the game with the 'antennae' showing when you look around.  To move you have to move the cursor until you get an arrow.
(3) When you find a gargoyle the mechanism in the bottom right of your screen will shine three green lights and you may have to move the cursor (antennae) around a little to hear the hum.
(4) Go back into inventory and look at the needles on the mechanism.  The left needle indicates that particular gargoyle's frequency and you have to rotate the right hand knob to get the right needle to the proper setting (either 4, 6, or 9; depending on the gargoyle).
(5) Crucial step - click on the bottom right button in order to have fire at the gargoyle when you are back into the playing screen and clicking the left mouse button.
(6) Aim the antennae at the gargoyle and left click the mouse when the three lights are shining on the mechanism in the bottom right corner of your screen.
(7) Gargoyle will explode IF THE RIGHT HAND NEEDLE OF THE MECHANISM IS SET TO THAT GARGOYLES SETTING.  IF IT DOES NOT, GO BACK INTO THE INVENTORY AND RESET THAT NEEDLE AND DO STEPS 4, 5, AND 6 AGAIN UNTIL IT EXPLODES.

I didn't do it......and if I did I'm not guilty!

Please don't stack your postings. Thanks.

From last gargoyle, take the first left path. Go forward and see the mausoleum on your left.
