The Hardy Boys keeps blacking out on Chapter 4 when I go to the nurses station just after seeing Tom Spencers wife at the grave. Can anyone help with a saved game after she leaves?? I have installed and reinstalled and my graphics card is working ok...Thnx people...

The closest saved game I have is at the West Wing.

Is that after seeing the wife standing at the cross, where is the west wing??? please don't tell me I can explore the the mansion.

ok i'm not the brightes color in the color box but could someone please tell me how to get a saved game to apply itself to the game i'm running windows vista and playing the hardy boys hidden theft i was sent a saved game for the keys but i do't know how to put in effect.

Check this post by abby, who found out how to get the saves in Vista (edited by MaG):

You go into everything like you said and once your in save data folder look up at the top and click on where it says compatibilily files.
This is where the saved saves go for the game even the ones someone sends you.
Just change the number of the saves that you download on the desktop to the last # in your compatibility file.
Click and hold and put it in you compatibility file and you ready to go.
(example if its sav_pic1, rename yours to sav_pic2 same # for pic and file(dat)but when remame and change you number in desktop also leave off the exts at the ends before you put then into the compatilbily file,it won't work with the exts.
Hope this will help some people with vista!

Don't give up, acj, let's try and get you through this part of the game instead, there's a trick to it.

Stand Frank at the top of the stairs ready to descend.
Get Joe to ring the doorbell.
As soon as you are able to gain control of the cursor again, switch to Frank and immediately double-click to descend the stairs.
Quickly click on the keys in the basket in the foreground of the screen to pick them up.
Immediately double-click to take Frank back up the stairs to safety.

It's the double-clicking that speeds up the movement here.

Have another try, you can do it.
