I am stuck on the green dragon puzzle (east wing passageway). I solved the puzzle and opened the passageway. Then, after I got a glowstick from Jane and went back, the green dragon will not open now. I am stuck at this point because everything else happens in the east wing passageway. Also, west wing passageway, I cannot get all six triangles to point up because of the 3 that move each other. Is this because I have not solved the trinagle puzzle in the east wing passageway? Is there anything I can do, or do I have to start a new game? If I uninstall and reinstall the game, will this solve it, or can someone send me a saved game before the green dragon puzzle? I foolishly saved all my saves in the same slot.

Hi lbrady,

You shouldn't need to start a new game, we'll get you past this somehow. Double check that you have set the dragon hands correctly:

top left - right
middle left - down
bottom left - down

top right - up
middle right - left
bottom right - right

Try that one more time and let us know how you get on.

Yes, you'll need to set the triangles correctly in the East wing passageway.

luck

Were any of the hands already in the correct position before you began the puzzle? If so, make sure that you have turned those also, all the way around and back to the correct place.

I don't have a saved game at this point, so if my above suggestion doesn't work, e-mail me your last saved game and I'll take a look at it for you.

i will try moving all the hands again. I am not sure I know how to e-mail you my saved game. Very much an amateur when it comes to computers. I will let you know how moving the hands again goes. Thanks, Rushes.

Moved all the hands, even the ones that started in the correct positions, and still no luck.

Have to run to the store. Will be back a little later. Please let me know how to e-mail you, and how to attach my saved game. Thanks, Rushes.

Are you using XP? The saved games are in this location:

Double click on My Computer, then C drive
Double click on the Nancy Drew folder, and then on the Curse of Blackmoor Manor subfolder.
Left click and then right click on your last saved game, then select Send To, and Mail Recipient. Then add my e-mail address to the mail and send. You can get my e-mail address from my profile.

luck

Thanks MaG and Rushes. Appreciate all the help. I apologize for being such a computer illiterate, but since I changed careers and became a hair stylist, and quit using computers every day, I have not kept up with computer stuff, not that I ever really knew that much to begin with. I will let you know how I fare after your help. Thanks again. Oh, and Rushes, I have Vista, not XP. I will try MaG's saved games first. Thanks.

thanks, your help is greatly appreciated. I managed to figure out with some help from my husband, that I had the hands turned the wrong way from right to left, and vice versa. I was able to go back to my saved game, thank goodness, because I was so close to the end. I have almost finished the game now. Thanks again, Rushes and MaG.

-------------------

I finished! Thanks for all the help, even though it was my own backwardness that stopped me for a while. MaG, your walkthroughs are so helpful and so detailed, I don't know how you do it. Thanks again.
