Oh I like this game. Graphics are well done and the added interactive puzzles are great!

I downloaded the game yesterday, but only had a few moments to play it before a small family emergency occurred. Does the game have a storyline?

When you are in the tunnel area you use riding crop in the crack in wall you get a geode rock hit it with hammer in inventory you get a jewel you also should have the glue in space where jewel goes. It is a short game too bad not longer I love the theme of the game.

I bought this game with extreme anticipation and to some extent I was pleased I did. Their previous Hidden Mysteries Civil War was graphically displeasing, with items extremely hard to find they were so minute.

This was a definite improvement, with decent minigames, but the game itself is very short indeed, so was a disappointment to me.

Can't wait for the new Mortimer Beckett for real interactive gaming - does anyone know when this will be out?

After you placed all the other items, then you can use the winding key.
I clicked on 2 places and it finished - so not sure: one is the center of the clock and the other is the metal tube right of the clock face.

I bought this game and think it is great. The clues are generous, I love that it can be played either timed or untimed and the objects look like they should as well as being findable. I enjoy the history and like it much better than Civil War (I did enjoy that one too, but found some of the objects harder to find). It is a keeper for sure. Thanks again for a terrific game BFG.
bravo yay

After placing the marble slabs, start with first phrase - click on the item that corresponds to the words done in sequence.
First phrase: Life blooms - click on the ankh and then the rose bud.
Second phrase is Time Flies: click on the clock and then the helmet of Mercury.
Third phrase is Grace Wanes: Click on swan and the moon at top right.
Last phrase is Death something (I forgot): Click on skull and last item (which I also forgot).

Thanks for all the input about this game, I bought the civil war game and made it through it in no time,I enjoyed the game but was slightly disappointed how quickly it ended. My husband who isn't so good at HO games still plays. I played the demo of BP on BFG and really liked it, even though it sounds short I think it's worth the 7 bucks (I'm a BFG game club member). I just can't seem to get enough of those HOG's!!!!!

Hi Sadirose,

Place the feather on the tiny little nose that is on the right side of the wall and it will sneeze. A secret compartment will then open up.

Good Luck

Can anyone explain to me the logic behind the puzzle where you arrange the figurines of the knights on the fireplace mantel?

Gamezebo has a picture of the solution ***here*** but they don't say why that's the solution.

Jenny,

The hands touched on the 2 leftmost.
The next two have the feet touching.
The next have the heads touching.
The last have the swords.
They are all connected.

Thanks, MaG. Now that you point it out, it seems obvious.
I was thinking along the lines of one appearing to be bowling, which starts with a B, one appearing to be playing baseball, which also starts with a B, one appearing to be about to kick a ball, which might be S for soccer or F for football, etc. And maybe they're in alphabetical order... So you see I was entirely on the wrong track.
