Hi again! I started a new game and the puzzles are fiendish!!
I am stuck at the "access to the shuttle bay", there are 4 bars to be ligned up, so help me this is way beyond my ability! Why didn't the WT person show the way the arrows should point to get the bars
on the other side of the shuttle door to align properly?!
He has me going back and forth looking through the window and then all the way back to see what happened, this is ridiculous!!!
Then also I have to reverse the position etc. etc.
This looks like a beautiful game, but why make it so difficult?
Can anyone show me where the arrows on the stand should be positioned so I can enter the shuttle bay?
Thanks.

Because that is the way the wt person did it. lol

I will check if someone did find the exactly the way to do it since I thought this is a random puzzle.

Yup - it's a random puzzle. Here's UHS hints - click here.

I can't find the parts from the downed companion, my cursor doesn't show anything, I had hoped I could fix Talen, then I went truly dizzy and almost nauseous from running back and forth to the window and those blasted bars, I made drawings of all the clicks I did on the board, but to no avail, you would think the developers had some kind of code after you try to get it right after a while eh?
If there is no further help I will give this game away and try something else!
I have again tried to run Amerzone, looks like a great game, it doesn't work..can't even install it. Tried to run it in WIXP compatibility mode had it installed but an error message came up when I hit play and I can't get beyond that either!
I also bought a new Sony DVD rom drive, and that helped with some games. anyway...hopefully someone can help me here
A little frustrated!!

Hank,

Check your inventory to see if you already automatically picked up the card from the down companion.

You have to have patience in this game. There are several more puzzles that needs care in solving. Well - the whole game is like that.

just wanted to put my two cent in about this game (mysterious journey). it was one of the hardest games i've ever played but one of the most beautiful. your in the shuttle bay? i couldn't figure it out for the longest, good luck, its saying something your even willing to take this game on. if i can recall it took me a good 9 months to finish. it felt really good when i did finally finish. without the help of gameboomers i would have never gotten threw it.

Thank you all for your nice comments!
Mag...I did get the card and fed it to Talen and he seemed to like it, but I thought I could find enough parts from the downed Companion to fix Talon so I would be able to get into the shuttle bay without messing with those bars behind the window!!
arrrrgh!! btw...Sharon, did you try to fix Talen? What did you do exactly to get those bars to line up and open the shuttle bay door??

--------------------------

Thank you Sharon for your kind words!
Did you try to fix Talen?
What exactly did you do to get those bars to line up and open the shuttle bay door?
Do you remember the settings on the panel with the foor clockhands on it? I know it's a random puzzle and fiendishly hard smile
Maybe if I could get those 4 settings it might work for me too?
Thanks for your help!

Hank,

You already know how to do the shuttle bay door - do you still have question about it?
As I unserstand your post, you already repaired Talen.

I can send you a saved game but as I said the saved game itself is a puzzle to install. If an error is done installing, you might lose your original saves.

Hi Mag,
I gave Talen the card from the fallen companion and he liked it, but does that REPAIR Talen? I thought there were more parts to be found to repair him and that would open the door!
Honestly I don't get the hang of adjusting the rods behind the window. I thought maybe Sharon had a combination of those 4 (clock) hands on the panel to open that shuttle bay door?
I don't understand what you said: "the saved game itself is a puzzle to install" what exactly did you mean by that?
Is that saved game hard to install or something?
Thanks again!

The door is locked by the bars. So if you open the bars the shuttle bay doors opens.
I don't know what you have done with Talen.
After you give him the card he will ask for more and tells you that the upper promenade is open. You have to go there and take more from another companion. After you do give him more energy or whatever - you can go on and try to get to the surface.

To do so means you need to open the shuttle bay door.
As mentioned before - this puzzle is random and what someone does would not be what you need in your game.

It is not that hard to install if one follows the procedure but it has happened that gamers that makes a mistake loses all their saved games.
