graveyard puzzle. You need to line up the lines so that power flows from the intact light bulbs and the ravenhead at the top of the puzzle. The lines do not connect the broken bulbs or the red button at the bottom. When you do that you will obtain a part you need for the moon/puzzle.

I need hints on the 3 doors in the basement. Anyone figured them out?

Thanks ever so much Margie. I can't believe the sun/moon puzzle was that simple. I even had the two formulas written in my notes but never dreamed I only needed to match two symbols.

Unfortunately, I had to take a break from the game to run to the lab and take a blood test (which I didn't have time to study for since I've been up since 4:30 playing this game.) Then I had a 9 a.m. appointment to test drive a Dodge Durango which I really love. So, then it was off to my mechanic for a buyer's inspection and to the bank to donate some more blood to get a loan. Poor Rose - my personal life is getting in the way of her rescue. I really must put the pot roast on to cook and bake a few pies for tomorrow, but maybe I'll just sign in to Ravenhearst long enough to see what's behind that fireplace....

Scarlet Dragon, which 2 symbols did you match? I am tearing my hair out with this one. I have already used one skip puzzle which added half an hour to my total gameplay time, and I don't have that option this time.

Take care,
doreen

Never mind saw the screeshot on page 1

I could not pick up the doll or do anything in the cellar so went on to the next room. Popped the V where it belonged, know I have lost my marbles in the 2nd puzzle and the 3rd puzzle the machine is shouting numbers at me. I can't decipher the numbers , it sounds like 30, 60, 3 or 30, 63. I have tried putting all sorts of numbers in the colour boxes but have no idea what I am doing or why I am doing it. Have not used the rag or the trumpet yet, if I blow the trumpet will the machine stop shouting at me & tell me calmly what to do ?
HELP !!!!!

Here's the solution for the number puzzle, middle door. For the trumpet you will use that to scare away the bats in the cave but you'll use that later on.

MIDDLE DOOR
Click on the white switch that is on the lower left side and it will activate the mechanism.

You will see some numbers flashing on the screen. You have to do the math and come up with the correct answer.

Click on the switches next to each number so that 2 lights on the same row are lit.

As you see the number show up on each row, do the math, either add or subtract.

Look on the top right side and you will see an arrow that points to certain colors. Move the arrow to the color you want to change, you will notice around the board that there are colored dots with a space for 2 numbers next to it.
Each time you enter a number, those dials will change.

Top row (pink lights) 27+24=51
Second row (green lights) 6-1=5
Third Row (orange light)71+09= 80
Bottom Row (light blue light) 63-32= 31

The doors will open automatically once you enter all the numbers correctly.

Hi Dorish, it may look complicated but it's not. At least try it and see, you may surprise yourself.

On the eyeball puzzle, I found in the center was a fuzzy blob, as I moved the handles the blob turned into an eye. The eye picture becomes sharper and clearer and when it was totally in focus, as I played with the handles, it blinked and it opened.

The number puzzle is random. Each row has a different light flashing so right down the numbers in order and then add or subtract according to the sign in the middle.

As for the zodiac puzzle, check the journal. Should have a page or two that has a symbol = sun or moon. Will be on separate pages.

Makes the skeleton puzzle easier as can look at the diagram for it.

Never resist a generous impulse.

BIL helped me with the math puzzle on the basement door. I was pulling my hair out and he calmly suggested "Why don't you work the math problems and use the answers?" Doh! The pair of colored lights for each of the 4 problems indicates where to enter each answer. It so totally made sense once I calmed down and looked at it. I guess I just get too excited and make it harder than it really is.

Guys, I am stuck on the slider puzzle in the garden. It looks like I need to get all the lights on including the bird's eye but not having much luck. Is there a pattern that I need to try and duplicate or is there some clue as to what it looks like? Thanks.

LUCKY 15/MARBLE #4
Click on the cash register that is on the right side of the scene and you will see a close-up view of the cash register.
Your goal is to arrange the numbers so that all rows and columns add up to 15.
Place the numbers in the following order
Top Row- 4 3 8
Middle Row- 9 5 1
Bottom Row- 2 7 6
Once the drawer is open, there will be a four digit code "5392"
Use that code on the electrical panel.
Click on the red marble that is on top of the piece of paper.

OK, I've been wandering forever and my feet are killing me. I finally found the room at the bottom of the well, but I have no idea how to make fire. I haven't even seen a match or lighter since the very beginning of the game and I don't think I ever even had one in my inventory. Anybody find fire yet? Point me in the right direction please.

you will find the sun when you solve the puzzle on the beach. You get to the beach by opening the portal when you get the door puzzle by the statue in the garden. (you have to have given the statue the black rose)(the solution to the door figure is found on the far left wall in the kitchen, click on the note and it will fall and show you what the figure should look like.) On the beach, when you have done the door puzzle which the answer of the shape he needs to be is in the kitchen/after you have found all 3 extra eyes), on the beach to the far right, it will sparkle in the undergrowth, use your shears to clip the shrubs away...theres the mini game, I hated it and used a cheat to go forward.
