I'm having trouble with the M-380 Decoder. I have the IX on the left, the V in the middle and the III on the right, but when I try typing the XT10SMKPPQQLNOREZA7LXT10SMKPQQLNOR3AS7LXT10SMK3A it's not decoding properly. I have checked off my task list as I should. What is the problem? Any help out there? Thanks. D

Be sure that you saw the picture of the wheels that gave you the IX V III on the 3 dials. It will not work if you have not.

Then be careful of the zeros 0 and the O difference. Don't worry if no letters appear on the paper yet. Some letters appear only after 2-3 keys are pressed.

Yes, I did get the IX, V, & III from the photo...anything else I may have missed? Thank you for your kind response.

Read the M380 book again and be sure that you opened the paper that is in there also. See if that helps.
If not - then be careful typing the letters - copy it from the book just to be sure.

Hmmm,I did copy it and rechecked the numbers - letters. My decoder book was taken when I emerged from the flooded catacombs..., however, I did read and looked at it all...

Open main drive (C) and look for Nancy Drew Danger by Design folder. I don't think it is inside the Program Files but check in there also.
Once you find it - open it and see if your save game files are in there.

Then download to the desktop the one I sent.
Take it from desktop and place it inside the Danger folder.
Close all folders.
Play - load a usual.
