Go to the guard at the gate and click on him.
The pole light at the bridge appears at the bottom of the screen.
Click on the pole light and go into a conversation about it.
Cabin appears at the bottom of the screen.
Click on the cabin to get another conversation.
Go to the locked cabin; go to the front cabin; return to the gate guard.
Now he tells you he is hungry.
On the way back to the cabin pick up the mushrooms.
At the cabin click the can opener on a can of beans; then click the mushrooms on the open can of beans.
Click the matches on the stove to light it; click the open can of beans on the stove and wait while the little clock in the top left corner of the screen indicates the passage of time.
Go back and give the gate guard the beans.
Kill some time by going to the cabin and the back cabin.
Return to the gate guard.
He tells you, basicly, he has to go because something was wrong with those beans and he leaves.
Go into the tent and pick up the radio on the table to the right (of the screen).
Go to the coat on the left and get the keys from the pocket (right click to get them).
Go to the back cabin and use the keys from the Major’s coat to get in.

Did you go to the guard in front of the mine again, after Stasek went missing,

Did you take the paper out of the pocket of the coat in the trailer?

make sure you go to the mine a few times... Did you go to the mine and hear your character say you can't go any further cause there's too much light, after that you should go back to the entrance and and you should be able to click on the lamp and the soldier will tell you he was hungry, go back and try to prepare food, and only then you will be able to collect the mushrooms.

Past the Guard (Save #15)
Go into the camp and see Peter Stasek sitting on the steps of a trailer. Talk to him.
Go to the cabin behind this one and find it is locked.
Go back and further past the front cabin toward the mine and find the entrance is guarded.
Click on the mine entrance (can only do this once)
Go back to Stasek and you have five things to talk about.
Go back to the camp; the Major doesn’t want to be bothered.
You can click on the mushrooms and the River and the Light on the pole but nothing happens.
Tried talking to the Guard at the Mine but still can’t even peek into the mine.
Left and came back to the Guard and this time, when I click on him, I have “permission papers” to click on him.
Back to Stasek and click on him and the mine picture comes up. Clicking on it he says he has a plan to get both of us into the mine.
Go to the trailer in back and the lights are on and you can go in.
Take the ‘expired’ Can of Beans from the counter by the sink.
Click & Right Click on the Raincoat and get a piece of paper from the pocket that says “D2-82”.
Click the stove twice; click the bed. Get the can opener off the table at the entrance.
In inventory, click the can opener on the can of beans and get the comment that he’s not hungry.

Go to the guard at the gate and click on him and a conversation begins automatically. He says he‘s exhausted and a chair and a light appears at the bottom of the screen.
Click on the chair and he refuses to sit down.
Click on the light and he says he can‘t turn off any lights but the generator is in the cabin.
Cabin picture appears. The cabin is locked and the Major has the Key.

Go back to the guard at the gate and he tells you he needs a favor and is hungry and anything will do.
Go back and click on the mushrooms and now you can open the can of beans in inventory. Mix in the mushrooms.
Click the matches on the stove to light it; click the open can of beans on the stove and wait while the little clock in the top left corner of the screen indicates the passage of time.
Go back and give the gate guard the beans.
