I am playing outcry, and I am stuck at the boiler room. I put the fuse in the capsule, in the living room. There is supposed to be a wheel where I enter a code. But I can't find it. Where is it? lol

If you are at the boiler room, enter the cellar -
go to the end of the room, then turn right and see the pump. The wheel-gauges are on the pump.

Can you clarify which code you are talking.
Is it in the boiler room or the capsule or the living room?

I am in the living room. I replaced
the fuse but I see no wheel on the right side of the capsule.

Go forward at left of the capsule and towards the window.
When you're close to the window, turn right and face the capsule.
Look down at the base of the capsule.

I am confused. I have been to one set of wheels and have set them. Where I replaced the fuse, I turned to the window but I can/t go there. Also, there is a hot spot on the boiler in the living room, but nothing happens. I went from the first capsule to a boiler room, living room, and office. The one boiler room with a burned fuse, I cannot find the screwdriver. Is there a picture of the room I am supposed to be in? Thanks

Living room: You are correct then that the fuse is placed on the base of the capsule. This is the one close to the window.

Boiler: - There is no boiler in the living room. You enter the door left of the gramophone. Go down the stairs and see boilers. There is a wheel above the boiler that is accessed at end of greenhouse.

Cellar: There is a door at bottom of stairs and across the boilers. Here you see the water pumps.

Code that you want to place might be (if I am understanding your post) inside the capsule that is found in the living room.

I am going to start over. I have done everything. But the hotspot on the capsule in the living room will not work. I found the wheels in the celler and I have read all of the notes. I cannot get anything else to work.

You should get the code after doing the organophone.
You can enter the capsule after you placed the fuse on the side of the capsule.
This should be done after you are finished everything at this present time.

Okay, I think I have found the problem. I cannot get that second light next to the double doors to come on. Which means I am having trouble with the water valves. After I set them, I hear a noise but the upstairs light is not on. I have the set valves many times but it still does not not work. I hear a sould when I turn the switch but it is not water. What do I do. I really like this game and would like to finish it. Thanks a lot.

Be sure that you read the notes and the diary, so that you know what to do.
Then adjust the water valves now that you know.

Turn all taps to the right so that we adjust the valves from the start or zero point.
Turn the valve until you hear a different sound.
From left to right, turn to the left: 6, 0, 2, 3.
Flip the switch on the left. Hear the loudest flow of water.

I have done that. I don't even hear any noise when I open the valves. I have done this over and over but hear nothing, until I turn on the switch. Then I am not sure it is water.
Also. O have gone to the organaphone but all I hear is weird noises. Is that what caused the womans anxiety?

Before you did the puzzle - did you turn the big wheel-valve on the boiler at the end of the greenhouse?

Yes. But I do not hear anything. At least the sound was not like water. Wait, what grrenhouse. I am in the lab and there is a valve next to the microscope

That lab is the greenhouse.

There is a wheel on the same table as the microscope and there is a wheel-valve to the right of that table. You turn the wheel on the right and take the wheel that is on the table.

I have done that. I just can't get the rest, from there on to work. I used the 6023 on the valves but that does not help. I am totally frustrated with this game. It should not be this difficult. I just can't figure out what is worng.

The 4 wheels of the water pump is touchy. I think that might be were your hiccuping. Try it slowly and follow the walkthrough.

No, not for the wheel on top of the boilers.
It opens the pipes to let water in the boiler.

Okay, I started over. Everything works until I get ot the left light. It will not light up, so I can't get in the capsule. I turned the valves left, but I only heard the regular sound,nothing unusual. Now what?

The left light is based on doing the water pump puzzle correctly.
I sent you saved games - one of them is for the pump puzzle. If you want to use that.

If not:
1. Go down to the cellar. Go forward until the end. Turn right and face the water pump.
2. Place the small wheel taken left of the microscope on the 4th or rightmost knob.
3. Now you have 4 wheels or taps in front of you. Turn all 4 taps to the right as far as it can go.
4. Turn the left or #1 tap 6 times to the left. Do this carefully.
5. Do not do anything to the second from left tap.
6. Turn #3 tap to the left 2 times. Do this carefully.
7. Turn the last or the rightmost tap to the left 3 times.
8. The pan to the left and see a switch - Flip the switch.
If this is done correctly - go upstairs and the left light should be on. Good luck.

Okay, the light cameon, the fuse is in the capsule, but it still will not open. lol The organ is on and the lights are lit. I do not know what else could be wrong. ugh
