I wonder if anyone can help me. My game and save game has gone funny. I saved at the frieze on the wall in the vault beside the treasure when I am looking at the drawings on the paper. Now I cant leave the paper screen. The word leave shows up but nothing happens when I click on it. My last save game is really far back and i would be grateful if someone could send me a save from just before or after this point.

Unzip the folder.
Take the 2 files inside and place it in:
C:Program files\The Adventure Company\The Abbey\Data\Savegames folder.
Close all folders.
Play and load as usual.

hi all

i am up to the point where leonardo gives umberto the soup.
i spoke to umberto about translating the hortus tuus book.
he said seven days.
martin catches trying to get some soup. he says i cant have any untill after the abbot blesses the soup. I distract martin with bruno. when i give umberto the soup he says it tastes like seeds and plants. i dont think its supposed to taste like that. ive done this a few times and it still happens the same way

In your talk with Eladio at the Hospital - have you learned that
Martin asked oregano and thyme for his soup?

i have been playing this game for over a week. it is driving me crazy i am about to throw in the towel. i have started from the begining so many times i have lost count. i cant get past giving the soup to umberto. when i talk to him i cant get them to talk about translating and to come back in 7 days. i just dont know what i am doing wrong. maybe i can use a save. thanks

Before you can take the thyme, you have to have read Herbula and gotten the recipe for the soporific.
Then I think that there are 2 active spots on the table - see which one is the thyme.
I am not sure - I don't think it's in a pot.

Check your inventory - also check your e-mail. I sent you a picture.

MaG I saw your picture and I was very surprised! I've never had that green pot. No on the table and no in Inventory! And even if I talk with Eladio he never talks about thyme, but only belladonna...is it a bug for you? I think that it's a big bug! But now I don't know what to do...I'm sad...I restarted the game, too, but the problem didn't change...Perhaps a savegame, but I don't know if it runs with my game...

However I want to thank you very much for answering me and for the picture...

I have 2 saves at Chapter 2 and they are close to the end of that chapter.
I will send you the end of Chapter 1 - follow the walkthrough from there and see if you can get the thyme.
If it still is not working, I'll send you the one close to the end, ok. Keep us posted - also check your e-mail.

MaG now I check my e-mail. Tomorrow I'll try again, because now it's a bit late for me and tomorrow I have to wake up early in the morning. I wrote to Alcachofa Soft., Cromson Cow and Friendware, because for me there is a big bug in my game!
I'll write you tomorrow..I hope your savegame helps me.

MaG A little answer. I tried with your savegame, but when I click on it in the game, the game crashes and I return automatically to Desktop...I'm really tired about this game, evene if I like it...
