I cannot seem to get any words on here. I move the cross bars to each spot as in the walkthrough (MaGtRo), but all I hear is breathing. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Once you move the cross bar do you just wait or what? Could somebody please help

Are you placing and then clicking on spots 1 to 6 in this picture?

When I go in after he says about hearing words you get a hand, I then put the hand on the screen just like above and then click and the cross bars along with the little square moves to where the hand is placed. Then i just hear the breathing no matter which spot I move too.

First, you should see activity at the beams on the environmeter.
Hear words or some sounds while at the balcony.
Then you see the cross hair and click on points 1, points 2... You should hear words on those spots.
Be sure that you have you sound up and not muted too.

I tried all of this. If you don't wait for activity at the environmeter you can't do anything. I also just tried clicking on the spots 1 thru six and then try to leave and he keeps saying that there is activity on the meter. I did the bedroom and bathroom ones, so it has to be the voice one. Any other ideas. Your help is appreciated.

If there's activity, then you should be able to hear them.
I can't recall but can you click to look close on the beams?

You can only move it around and clicking at a spot doesn't do anything. I even had someone else try it and still no luck. I clicked in the order that you said and thought even if I don't hear them it should let me proceed, but it won't. It just keeps saying there is activity on the meter. I even went up the steps and used the other meters on the beam and then went back down and tried it and I still get no words, other then when you go into it, he does say he hears words. I guess if anyone has a save after this that would help. I am lost as to what else to try.

I was able to continue after your save, and then I went back to one of my older ones before that point and tried again on the beam, I still didn't hear the words, but when I did it in the order you said in the walkthrough it then retraced the pattern with the cross bars by itself and he repeated the words. Once again I really appreciated your help and I am continuing on with the game. Thanks, Sharon
