Collette,
Check your e-mail - it is sent.

Grandmother,
You'll know it turns midnight when it gets dark.
If it is still not dark, talk to Nostradamus again about the quatrain. He will mention about something that will help his memory. That is when you need the mandrake.
Look in your recipe book if ther ecipe is there, so that you know you need mandrake. luck

Hi Mag
Can you please send me a save for the solar return machine. I am starting to cross-eyed trying to line up the planets. Just can't do it.

Do you have a criteria of how and where do I put your saved file for the Solar Return Machine. I am lost.

Thanks

Download the file to desktop.
Open the My Computer - C drive - program files - Microids - Nostradamus - Profile 1 folder.
Check what is the last number there.
Renumber the file on the desktop to be the last number.
Place the renumbered file in the Profile 1 folder.
Play-load as usual. Check each of the icons profile to see where it got placed.
Good luck.

I am working off a Windows Vista. In my program files-Nostradamus- Profile 1 folder, I only have a config file. I cannot download this particular file. It tells me that it does not have a program associated with it to perform this action. Please create an association in the Set Association control Panel. What am I missing or doing wrong?
Thanks Jacq1

Jacq,

Check the stickied thread on top of the Hints page about Vista saved game folders.
See which one might get you to that elusive folder.
Then that is the replacement for the instruction - second line on my post above.
Continue from there. luck

Wow! That's great! Which one did you do that worked? So that another Vista gamer can be helped.

I needed to turn off my User Account Control. Than I opened the Users\My name\AppData\Local\Virtual Store\Program Files\Name.
Thanks for the help.
Have you done the part where you decode the alphabet. I am trying to do this section. I am a little confused. Any suggestions.

Use the quill on the alphabet of Philibert's stone to get TOMBE.
Use the compass to complete all the circles - outside and inner circles. Check that all the circles are made.

Then place the Celtic letter under the corresponding top alphabet.
Click the double arrow to enter it on the column at right page.
Then the next Celtic letter for the next top alphabet will be the third Celtic alphabet from the one you just did. luck

You're welcome. It is a very good game - except for that last timed puzzle. smile
