I can't figure out how to use the inventory items.
I have a bar key and a lantern but don't know how to "use item".
I bought the walkthru but it doesn't tell me the answer to this
question. I tried right clicking on it, but nothing happens.

One more thing, I found my way into the kitchen, and found the door to go into the dining room, but I can't find my way out of the kitchen like I entered. Where is the door? What does it look like? There is a brown door but no way it seems to open it. Any help in progressing would be appreciated.

MaG did you ever do a walkthru for this game? Your walkthrus are always so precise.

Thanks in advance for your help. I played this game when it was first released years ago. I didn't have these problems at that time. It must be because I had more brain cells and less birthdays at that time.

Inventory - Based on DF2 which I just played - you see the tool icon on the screen. Then click on the inventory item at bottom of screen. Then click the tool icon on the screen. You can also click on screen first and click on the item after. I think I did that.

Kitchen - The door to dining room is across the stove. The exit door is on the far right side of the stove but on the far wall (not same wall as the stove).
