Just visited the Castle for the first time and visited that room with big statues and a coffin. Got the grapnel.

But seems that I'm missing a step?

Thanks for any clue.

Do you have the rope?
Did you go up stairs and talk to guy outside of the door?
Go to red room?

Thanks birddog. Yep, got the rope. Must have click on a wrong place because I was not able to go up stairs.

Will try again.

Chief

Edit: Had not try to go up after getting Juli's call. That could be the reason I did not see a hot spot on the steps. Got it now.

The map is on the desk in Jambor's apartment. Make sure you buy a model of the minaret from the stall before you go there.

I'm only a little further ahead than you are now. It's a brainstretcher for sure.

I just got done talking to Juli and she agreed to help me. Looked around in the cemetery and went into the building. Rushes,
Do you know the code for the lock to get into the building to see the tombstone? The boy on the bicycle was to fast

Richard - you can listen to the tones- if you havea good ear.
But eventually, Jonathan will recite the code but he will say it too fast. So best to save the game before doing the puzzle.
Also - you can speed this up with the boy by entering 666666 or 999999 or both. You might need 3-4 tries on doing this 2 codes before Jonathan will say it.

Now - will someone tell me - where the 'yellow walls' are - I need to look at an ornament there. I have been going around and around. The only yellow walls I saw are by the altar in the Cathedral. Thank you!

I also checked the church across the door code puzzle.

Thanks, I found it. It helps to post. lol

When you leave the castle the walls there are sort of yellow.
No ornaments but has some picture on it.

I cant get to book 2 because can not get the thug to leave the Gardens.

birddog,
I found the yellow wall. Thanks.
Have you done everything already?
As for the thug - you can be hit again - you will end up in the hotel room. Then he moves to another place. I got hit twice bec I was too lazy to check the camera obscura.

I stopped playing again, need to catch up work. I am on the last book with yellow walls clue now. Ugh!

You're welcome, Tichard.

Birddog - It doesn't need to be done in order. I did mine helter skelter.
Check the books the same way.

Thanks Mag,I was making it tougher than it had to be.After visiting the cellar I figure I have to find the chest.I looked all over the antique shop but I dont see it.I seem to be stalled on finding the rod for the furnace grate.

Talk to the auntie standing outside the house for sale. Also talk to the antique's dealer. Both will state something about the missing chest key.
Then go back to the cellar and take the key on the shelf left of the stairs.
Then give it to the antiques dealer and go from there.

How do you get to the antique shop? I hsve been to the wine cellars, seen the picture and the writing, the museum- looked and clicked on everything I can find, decoded the letter, the library-all floors, the basillica. No one will talk to me and I am at a loss.---a question about the back of the museum brochure,do all the numbers have to be coloured blue?
Thank you in advance, as ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
