I am in the library and attempting to throw the statue (with the map wrapped around it) out the window. I put the map together, taped it and wrapped it around the statue. Nicole looks out the open window but when I try to throw the statue out, I can't. Nicole keeps saying things like. "we need an alternative solution, or Nicole, think. Then I get shot. I have tried it on both windows.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Did you place the map that you have in inventory also - together with the new map that you just got?
You're doing this so that the maps won't be taken by the baddies.

I am not sure I understand what you mean. I combined the two map pieces (the one I picked up in the hidden room) and the piece I had in my inventory. I taped them together and wrapped them around the statuette. Should I have another map in my inventory?

I missed seeing that you used both maps. That is good then.

Did she say that she hopes that nobody catches her with the map before you wrapped the map on the statuette?

That, I don't know. I have replayed it a couple of times. Once I knew what I was supposed to do, I did it quickly. Des that make a difference? If so, I will re-do it.

I tried that. think that I have tried just about everything, but apparently not, since I can't throw it through the window.

Let's try another thing - are you throwing it on the window left of the fireplace?

Yes, I am throwing it at that window but Nicole keeps saying things like,"we need another alternative or Nicole, think!"

Let's go over the steps:
1. You combine the 2 maps that youhave.
2. You use adhesive tape on the 2 maps.
3. You exit the room.
4. She mentions 'hopes nobody catches her'.
5. You wrap the map on the statuette.
6. You use adhesive tape on the map+statuette.
7. You throw it out the window.

Did you do step 6?

No! I did not use tape on the statue, I just wrapped it around. That might be it. Will let you know.

That was it MaG! I didn't use the tape on the statue after I wrapped it. I am now in Cuba. It was neat to have the elusive Nick
show up. I really like this game and hope they will make another sequel.

Thanks for the help!

I had that stickiness too. Be sure that you use Euro coins.
Also click on that middle button again, it will unstick.
Ah - okay - saved game on the way.

I am also having a problem with the game crashing, when I'm trying to play the slot machine. Could you please send me a saved game, so that I can get past this point. I thought I was doing something wrong, but after reading here how there are many people having the same problem, I don't feel so bad. Thanks for your help!

Hamer, If this saved crashed, then the others might also.
I will check and see for the other saved you are asking.

welcome sewqueen,
I think the gamers are just impatient with the puzzle and are not waiting on or retrying this puzzle. I had the same experience but got through with the puzzle.
The saved game is on the way.

Have you clicked on the ground in that area? Nicole will say something needs to be placed there to catch the fruit. Did you borrow the stick yet?
