Hi, I'm stuck on the lock puzzle where Sherlock is in jail.I put the spoon in and it gives me a closeup of numbers that I have to put in order. Only Ican't seem to drag the numbers down to another bar. They just sit there. Any suggestions?

Hi maxcat,

You can only move the farmost right number of any row. Place that across into a different row and then you are able to move the one previously to its left.

You'll find that you can only place one number at a time in the top and bottom row, but multiple numbers in the rows immediately above and below the main number line.

luck

I'm in Fraulein Muller's room and have picked up everything on the desk except the spectacles which aren't there. Any hint, please?

The spectacles are somewhere on the same desk as where you picked up the note and the large bottle, maxcat. Check your inventory in case you already picked them up without realising.

I did check before writing here and they are not in inventory.

Did you read the note about the glasses?
The glasses are in a case.

I can't find the safe for the n.o.star puzzle. Is it in the master bedroom?

Yes, the safe is in the master bedroom. It will appear automatically (Watson is there and will shout for Holmes) once you have completed everything else that needs doing in the house up to that point.

You'll also have to look at everything outside as well. I was stuck at this very same point and finally resorted to a walkthrough (which still didn't help). I thought I’d thoroughly examined everything outside and was quite surprised when I took another look at an item I’d already seen and it had a little something extra.

I just replayed the game last week – and yep… stuck at the same spot again… At least it didn’t take days to figure out this time. This is one of the few areas I thought was unfair. The game could have just as easily progressed without the additional information.

I have looked and retraced every step inside and out and did miss looking at the body's hand. But nothing was said about the hand by Sherlock. I have everything in inventory I need, so I don't know what I missed. Is there a saved game?

Have you gone towards the path outside the back gate already?
Is this the remastered version?

Yes, the game is from BFG. The path you mean is the one leading to the swarm of mosquitoes? Yes, been there twice.

How about the blood on the ground by the pond-fountain outside?
You want a saved game? I have to check if I have one.

I sent you one from the remastered version. The safe is seen.
I found the original version and sent you a saved game on that one also. luck

Okay, I have save 19. I went into a search for Sherlock Holmes and I did get program files. But there isn't anything about users or saved games that I already have. Any ideas?

I don't have the sedative for the needle, and can't get back to where it's supposed to be. This is the BFG remastered. What can I do?

Yes, you can get back up to the treatment room upstairs.
Turn the corner from the lab, take a left at the entryay first on the left. Turn the corner and up the stairs. Good luck.

Thanks, Rushes, for both saves. It was save 19 that worked and I'm passed that point now and moving on.

I'm ready to talk to Lucy. How do I get on the Louisiana Nymph riverboat?

There's a ramp at the docks with one riverboat to the left of it, and the Louisiana Nymph to its right. You'll be able to board the riverboat from that main ramp.

I'm at the lighthouse underground. Watson is supposed to get a mast for Holmes. A large rock is by where Holmes is. The thing is I can't get Watson to climb the incline. Is it the one by the ramshead?

After talking to Holmes, Turn around 180 degrees. Move forward until you see the mast, logs and planks.
Pick up the plank-log; turn 180 again and forward to the first hole in the ground.
