Hello,

I am playing sinking island and I need help with putting the two pieces of the drop letter from Nolent to Isabella.
It will not allow 2 pieces on the documents square together.
Any help is appreciated.

Sunita thanks

This is the suicide letter of Nolent and the piece of letter taken from the plant by the elevator?

If so, you do this in the PPA comparison part.
The compare frame is at bottom of the screen.
Compare the letter written by Nolent from the left column and the part of ripped letter. Match.

I am having trouble getting into the library on the 21st floor. Norm knocks on the door and says he needs a key. But I don't recall any place where he was to pick up a key.

Hi maxcat,

There's no key for the library, you will only ever be able to enter when Nolent is inside the room. Nolent must be elsewhere right now - check the character database for his current location, if you need to speak with him. smile

I'm having trouble doing the mandate after talking to kolio. The declarations aren't coming out right Plus I put the pictures to the left and they are not showing. I can't click on ok as obviously I'm not done.

Which mandate are you working on? Not sure what you mean by the declarations not coming out right, can you elaborate? think

It's the mandate you have to do that will answer " Who was at the Belvedere on the night of Walter Jones' death?" When I bring up Lorenzo on the PDA, none of his declarations match what I need to select for the declaration squares. Same thing with Nolent. The pictures asked for I have though it says to put them in a picture square. Where is that? The material clues I also have them but where do you put it? Where is the material clue square?

The game is fairly non-linear so you can have several mandates open at the same time. As you progress and discover new evidence you'll open up new dialogues, and then be able to close out older mandates. Have you spoken again with Lorenzo and Nolent to see if they have anything new to say? Perhaps check against the walkthrough to see if there are any items you've missed, or conversations with other characters that could shunt the game along.

The mandate squares are on the far left of the clues database page and are lettered to help you place evidence. I think the picture squares are titled "Pic", and material squares "M". luck

I've spoken to Lorenzo and Nolent and did get the information I was looking for. But, at the beginning of the walkthrough I have, it says to click on the puzzle piece and you can finish the mandate. I'm showing no progress at all and the puzzle piece doesn't do anything. Should I continue a bit further even though Norm is supposed to get a get a phone call about Jones' body and he is supposed to call his boss?

Yes, carry on exploring and speaking to different characters, and hopefully that will open the game up. Also check the Compare screen in any of the mandates you currently have unsolved - there may be new items there that you can match up and form new evidence. Clicking on a puzzle piece will open up any unfinished mandate, it is possible to have two or more running at one time.

I have interviewed everyone twice right down to their thoughts on the other characters. I even visited Nolent again and Jack dismissed himself. So, I know I've done Nolent. I went back into cluebase and clicked on puzzle piece and did not get anything. I clicked on the progress bar and a woman said I definitely need more elements. How could I if everything has been done?

Have you compared the wheelchair fingerprints to those of Ba'i'na? Do you have the footprints of both Ba'i'na and Nolent?

Also, do you have the jacket scrap, and have you compared it with the grey jacket? Have you found Ba'i'na's beads?

luck

Glad you got through the mandate.

What problems are you having with the gun rack?

I was having problems getting fingerprints and taking pictures. But through bumbling around I managed to get those tasks done. I now am in the dining room getting more info. I'm sure I'll be back in touch at some point.
