I've read William Ager's journal. But I keep getting lost in the cave trying to reach the Nature Reserve/Train Station. I keep ending up at the chasm...am I in the wrong cave? Detailed cave-navigation instructions needed, please!

welcome AnnLouise,

You started at the Harbour Cottage. Exit the house.
Go left and forward until the beach.
Go to-cross to the other side of the beach where you are closer to the house that is on the cliff.
There is a cave opening on the right. Enter cave.
Take the exit that is at right when you're inside and looking out of the cave.
Take that exit until you are outside on the other side of the hill.
There is a now a path to the left to go to the beach or forward-right around the Tower.
Take the path around the Tower.
You will now be at the Fens.
Take the wooded pathways until the Train Station.

Yes - you are at the wrong cave. wink

I'd better not take up spelunking, then. crazy
I'm playing this game as a huge ghost story fan, not a long-time gamer, so I appreciate the help.

You go forward after passing the church and where you took the preachers fear plant - go forward and then left - get the ash thorn.
Then turn back to the right and go forward. Turn right and go forward once. Turn left and pick up the #4 Witch's Bane.

Thanks again. You can tell I'm playing this game as a fan of ghost stories, not an experienced gamer.

I looked and didn't find any.

I sent you a saved game with all 5 plants collected.

MaG - Thank you! But mean old Windows won't let me open up the file - they're so over-protective. I somehow managed to collect the Ash Thorn, so hopefully I'll tumble over some Witch's Bane.:)

You let the game open it after you place the file in the TLC folder in My Documents.

If you remember or saved the game from the Ash Thorn - Then turn back to the right and go forward. Turn right and go forward once. Turn left and pick up the #4 Witch's Bane.

luck

Yea! Success at last! I retraced my steps to the Ash Thorn and found the Witch's Bane. Finally, I can get out of that danged graveyard!
Thanks

Is there a possible glitch in Lost Crown? I'm almost at May Day, but after seeing those nasty Agers in the hallway (while Lucy's manning the meterthingy), it goes off nightvision, Nigel turns to face the end of the hallway, and - nothing. I can't get any promps, and have to crtl-alt-del to go back to my previous starting point. Has this happened to anyone else?

Maybe you didn't wait enough for the cutscene to happen?

After Lucy says "it's fading" and the Agers disappear, is Nigel supposed to turn around and stare at the end of the hallway? Is something supposed to happen before Nigel can I went back and played the earlier meter scene(s) - do you have to see all of them - i.e. I saw the bats but not the words on the beams on the balcony but did see both Molina and the wheelchair in the hallway. Maybe I didn't go far enough in the hallway before talking to Lucy on the walkie-talkie.

Hi AnnLouise,

I'm confused - are you playing on Night Two or Night Three at the moment?

Night Two is where Nigel and Lucy set up the surveillance equipment for the first time, and you do see the bats in the balcony area on this occasion.

However, on the Night Three surveillance, there are no bats. Night Three has the word puzzle at the balcony beams, and Nigel uses the walkie-talkie to communicate with Lucy after walking down to the end of the hall.

It sounds as though you're only on Night Two right now, but you're checking the walkthrough for Night Three. Please correct me if I'm wrong! woozy
