Help please -- I have to get a frying pan from the porter (to hit the bride to be over the head I'm guessing) but it is not showing up after I speak to him. In fact there appears to be no hot spot on his backpack and only allows me to talk to the porter. Should this be in glitches?

This is a known glitch. I don't think there's an English patch.
I sent you a saved game for XP. I'm not sure if it works for Vista.

If you're using Vista tell me.

Sorry I haven't got back to you - we've been off the air - thanks to a computer glitch (my husband!).
Thanks for sending the file - but I must be doing something wrong. I unzipped and filed with the save games but it doesn't appear in the load screen when I start the game - not sure what I am supposed to do. Sorry ... wouldnt say I'm computer incompetent but nor am I as savvy as I would like to be!!

Scroll at start of the load list; it might be arranged by dates. Keep us posted.
Are you using Vista or XP?

Suggestion.......

If it is listed by date then when you find it in the LOAD menu make a new save immediately upon opening it in the game (overwriting the save) and it will then appear at the end of the Load List.
