Hi fellow Gameboomers! wave It's been a while, I've missed you all. Unfortunately, I haven't been visiting the site nearly enough in the past couple years, thanks to school and work. Done with school now, for the most part, and hoping to start slowly get back into gaming mode. Any interesting new games come out in the last couple years?? I see Still Life 2 is coming out, that sounds awesome, can't wait! I loved the first one! grin

Hi Tristy -- welcome back!

You can look up games by the year they were published here at the Pagoda Adventure Game Database. You'll find plenty of entertaining games that have been released in, for instance, 2007 through 2009.

You could print up these lists, and then compare the games to the ones that got the most votes in the GameBoomers' Adventure Game List, 2008 just for starters. (Since this vote was taken in June 2008, games that released late in 2008 or 2009 will not have made the list.)

You could also look at The Latest Adventure Game Releases page and visit the games' websites and try any trailers or demos that are across from the game's title on the "Latest" page. You could also eyeball the Latest Additions to our Reviews page to see if anything there looks interesting.

You have a lot of good gaming to catch up on! grin

If you want to list your preferences in games (for instance, do you like horror, detective, comedy, inventory challenges, mechanical challenges, first person or third person perspective,) it might help narrow down the possibilities so that others can make suggestions for you.

welcome back Tristy. I'm sure you won't have any trouble coming up with some game suggestions if you hang around here. lol

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Tristy nice to meet you. There are so many games that have come out over the last couple years! I would suggest you look over the reviews on the GameBoomer Home Page as Becky said. Good Luck and Welcome back!
