I'm hoping someone can help me as I'm stuck, whatever I need to do to trigger a call from Claire regarding the license plate isn't happening I've checked the walkthrough and it seems that I've done everything but I'm still walking around waiting for a call. I'm at this place in the walkthrough=


Later after some time, Claire calls that the license plate is from a Parson or Karson from info by former owner. Then later, Claire calls to say that the suspect is David Karson.

Enter the room with charred door.
Has anyone any ideas what I might do??

Katya, I have been reading WT's to see if I could find something, but so far no luck.

Have you tried to drop back a save and follow the WT exactly to see if you can trigger something?

I have retraced my steps and so far nothing, I think I need a save.The following are objectives that show as not done in my smartphone
1: Explore house in search of Hernandez
2: Find clues to the killer
3: Open the charred door
So I went back but haven't found anything I have missed so I'm at a loss what to do next...

Katya, I wonder if that is a glitch--hmmmm, let me search.

I take it you can't do any of those objectives without the call?

I'm not really sure actually, but after retracing my steps following the walkthrough I haven't found anything I might have missed, and now I'm pretty much just walking around waiting for the phone to ring!

Katya, I found a patch but not for this problem.

This is a desperate long shot, but have you quit the game and restarted it? For no particular reason, sometimes that helps.

I haven't played this so I'm not sure which of these areas applies to you, but you might find what you are missing.

Double check and read the documents and mails in the smartphone, especially Hawker's report.
Also double check that you have not missed testing an evidence in your kit.

thx loony4labs I restarted but it hasn't helped.

MaG, I re read all the documents in my smartphone including Hawkers report, and the evidence in my kit I have two red items
update kit photo of a wood carving and update kit chewing gum so when I click on those items in my kit and click the three icons on the side it keeps saying analysis failure data is incomplete or incompatible... yet they are both at 100% in my kit, sorry to be a pain but I'm at a loss and again thanks for helping.
