Hi, trying to finish this game, BUT just can't beat the clock on the pillar puzzle. Do you have a saved game? Thanks.

Hello MaG. I have completed the Solar System puzzle and made the eucalyptus tea. How do I get her to drink it. Tried it on the big picture in the inventory which sounds right but it doesn't get her to sleep. Is there a portrait to use it on.

Grateful for any help on offer.

Oswald

Hi Oswald,

Did you speak to Nostradamus after solving the puzzle and did he mention the tea?
Check that you made the tea correctly, using the recipients of all sorts, and that it is labelled as Eucalyptus tea in your inventory. Yes, you should place it on the picture of Madeleine in inventory.
Maybe go back to a saved game before you made the tea and replay this part. Several other members have had trouble at this spot. luck

Thanks Rushes,
I did do that but will try again. Prior to deciphering the message and the solar system puzzle, I could not get the lens to work on the foot of the scribe, which is in the 'things to do list' Tried several times starting at an earlier save, but with no success. This may have to work before making and drinking the tea will happen.

Hmm, if the game automatically moved on past that point to nighttime and the solar puzzle, I don't think you need worry about it. Good luck with the replay. If you still have problems there are plenty of saved games HERE to get you past your stuck point. Good luck, and keep us posted.

Hi Rushes, I've tried everything lots of times but with no success. Last option is to re-install, and try. Will let you know if this works.

Thanks

Oswald

Hi Rushes, The re-install did not help, I went back much earlier in the game and replayed but with no success. I have downloaded from your list of saves and this should move me on to the morning after the tea drinking.

Thanks again for your help

Oswald

Glad the saved game got you moving again. I wonder if the tea problem might be a glitch, it does seem strange.

Enjoy the rest of the game now. smile

Hi Rushes, I needed to renumber the save, but it was the answer. I agree that there is probably a glitch at the tea making point. Also I was unable to measure the scribes foot, Another glitch I think. Thanks again.
