What are some of the funniest adventure game moments that you have experienced?

Here are some of mine.

Crow in the Longest Journey was a hoot.

Leisure Suit Larry was cheesy funny.

Dying in a Space Quest game was always made humorous and they liked to subject you to ridicule.

When you would enter a wrong copy protection code in Zak McKracken you were sent to a jail cell with the message that you really should but a legal copy of the game.

I loved in Kings Quest 2 when you were on the mountain top and looked into the hole how it launched the blatant Space Quest promo.

The moving inventory of Discworld and Simon the Sorcerer.

The sword fighting insults of Monkey Island.

Arthur from Legacy of Time. He was very funny.

Perhaps this should go in a "most unintended funny adventure game moment," but the funniest moment for me in an adventure game was watching the video in Barrow Hill for the rock at the gas station. I just watched it over and over and laughed and laughed...

I think the dialogue in the Tex Murphy games can be very funny indeed - and so witty.
I laugh myself silly at some of his quips

And the antics of certain characters in the Monkey Island games are hilarious ....

But , The funniest for me was ever single one liner.."Froderick" said to Mona..In the Vampryre game.....

How about Manny in Grim Fandango. It might be the funniest game ever made.

I second Grim Fandango for funniest game. I also loved Return to Ravenhurst, though not a true adventure as much as a casual adventure. But I had to include it for it's exceptionally dry wit.

LOL! I meant to say Hidden Expedition-Amazon instead of Return to Ravenhurst! Ravenhurst was anything but funny! Sorry, you all must have been scratching your head over that one.

There are many funny moments in games, but the one that comes to my mind at this time is in Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards when Larry is in the dicso place and says to the single girl sitting at a table, "May I join you?" and she answers, "Why? Am I coming apart?" Still makes me laugh!

There's also that moment in Ark of Time

I loved Glottis, especially when he asked for a breath mint.

There have been many very funny moments in games for me from either situations or comments which were fun at the time but I now just don't remember as there was so many that amused me! But I laughed out loud at a situation In Secret Files 2, which I've played recently, where That just tickled me!

I agree with the Gabriel Knight games, and Tex Murphy. Return to Zork is also a classic for humor. Delaware St. John--the banter between Delaware and Kelly makes me laugh. Voyage had some funny moments, too, as I recall.

Thanks for all the moments. I always thought Day of the Tentacle was a very funny game. I love games that make you laugh.

I agree about Murray the talking skull; also the look on Grace's face in Gabriel Knight 2 when she realizes that it's Gabriel on the stage. Another good one was April Ryan's scream when the dumpster she was hiding in got overturned into the garbage truck.

Murray, the talking skull, reminded me of Crow from The Longest Journey for some reason.
