I have the restoration room keys, and the combo of rope and grappling hook, but can't get Jonathan to use them at the castle. I've looked at the walkthrough, but can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Did I miss a trigger somewhere?

Have you taken the lantern from the floor at left side of the Torok 4 cellar?
