I'm playing the game Paradise and am having a problem. I have been given the key to the middle cage where the leopard is. I'm inside the cage and I'm trying to pull the lever on the floor in front of the long tube. I am getting the action curser that tells me to do something, but nothing is happening. Then I go to the control panel and click the knob on the correct position but can't pull the lever on the right. Is this a glitch, is ther a patch??? Any help please.

----------------

Never mind - Went back and retraced my steps and found that I had missed pulling another lever by the pond. Everything works fine now.

I think I've hit a glitch. I'm at Level 1095 at the mines and have moved forward from the elevator. MaG's W/T says to talk to Engineer Dada. I am standing at the base of the steps at Level 1095, Engineer Dada is at the top of the steps and there are miners at either side of the steps. Ann can go no further, and the action icon is not giving me the speaker signal to let me talk. Any help?

Hi Papa Terry,

I merged your two threads. It helps us if you can stay with one thread per game, that way we can follow your gameplay and it avoids pushing another member's active thread off the first page. thanks You can find all your posts at My Place at the top of the page.

Several members have reported glitches with triggering dialogue in this game. Are you close enough to a saved game that you can go back and replay this part? That might shake the problem loose.

Thanks Rushes, Yes, I have done that a couple of times. But every time I get to that part in the mine the same thing happens.

One thought, lower you video-audio acceleration and then replay that part. See if that helps.

Thanks MaG, need a little help here - How do I lower my video-audio acceleration? Your talking with a real dummy when it comes to computers.

I got this link using 'search'. Jenny at Glitches posted it. Click here.

Lower the notch one at a time first. Then check the game.

See if that works first.

Thanks MaG - I went down one notch at a time and tried the game each time. Got to 3 notches below full and the game would no longer load. Error message states my drivers and Direct X needed updating. So I put it back to full.

I'm sorry.
That is a known glitch.

Is your game a download or an old box copy?
I presume that you already installed the patch. Patch

It is an American boxed version from UBISOFT, and YES I have already installed the patch.

For some it helped to use the in-game minimum settings and NOT the game cursor.

Do you just go into "Options" and say NO to all settings????? I'm not sure what you mean by "in-game minimum settings and NOT game cursor".

Yes, try turning those settings down/off, and see if that makes any improvement.

Okay, I'm back up and working again. I turned off all settings and restarted the game from my last save. This must have knocked something loose as the game continued past the point where I was stuck. Thanks again for all the help, you guys are the greatest.

Boy, this game has a lot of glitches. Now I can't get Mr. Gretzelburg to talk to me.
