This is an excellent little cartoony RPG.

The graphics are similar to Aveyond although the menus aren't as intricate.

The fight system is OK although it's random fights instead of running into your opponent on the field. There are unlimited "escapes" though which makes things easier.

There are different levels of difficulty you can choose from very easy to difficult and the story itself is pretty interesting without being overly obnoxious.

There isn't an excessive amount of grinding that needs to be done but as with all RPG's, fights are a lot let stressful if your level is high. I'm at Level 14 and thought the boss fights have been a bit challenging, they haven't been frustrating.

The only problem I have with this game is the loot that the monsters drop, there isn't much of it. Through the 8 hours I have yet to have ANY of them drop money which means the armor, etc, is impossible to buy. The loot that the monsters do drop don't seem to be used for anything so far but I don't know what might happen later in the game.

There are 30 quests and I've been playing for over 8 hours and only have 5 done so it's going to be a good, long game. Well worth the money for people who enjoyed Aveyond etc.

Thanks Jldcat, do you think this is better suited in the Darkside? Or is it a "casual" RPG game?

It's definitely a casual RPG, it's almost the same as Aveyond, perhaps easier even.

Now if I could find another soul who's playing, I might be able to ask some questions.

Bigfish has a blog walkthrough but unfortunately it doesn't address my problem frown
