Remember where you left Mina. At the crossroad there, there is a:

Lake - Windmill crossroad: Select 'caress' and Jep asks for a hug. That raises Mina's energy a bit.
Go to top path, be at a crossroad and Jep smells something.
Turn around and take the leaf of a tree from under some boards.

Can anyone help me with snake charming? I play the octarina for the snake but I am unable to pick the flower. I cannot "click the octarina on the snake" as the walkthru states but can only click on the octarina. When I am playing the octarina, there appears to be no hotspot on the flowers or the snake. What have I missed?

As soon as the snake rises to the music, back out of close-up view immediately and click on the flowers to take them.

I also have problem with this part of the game.My wife started this game and she got stuck
at the point where you must get rid of 2 monkeys.
She is good at logic and i try to help her when it comes to arcade.But this one i can't seam to
be able to get the 2 monkeys to leave.The other monkeys are all green but i have tried so often but even if i can get one red the other still stay there.

Please could you sent me a saved game to pass this this point of the game.It would be appreciated from myself and my wife.After that i will be able to go back doing what i should be

The way I did this puzzle is to concentrate on one until the red bar goes way to the left and then concentrate on the other one as fast as I can. Eventually, they both give up.

The saved game is on the way also. You're welcome.

MAG Could you explain how to use the ovoid to get Jep's memories I got Mina ok but I am stuck there.

I'm a bit confused - have you entered the geothermal room already and have seen the control panel?

Ovoid: Face the language machine. You will see the ovoids that have pink centers - those are the ones with memories.
Before doing Mina's memories, there were 2 blank (no pink at center) ovoids at bottom left row.
You used one on Mina and got her memories when you picked one up.
Now pick the other blank ovoid and click it on Jep to get his memories. You do this by opening the inventory and taking the ovoid and clicking it on Jep's picture.

If you cannot understand what the alien is saying - then you have not done the language machine correctly. He is actually saying numbers. Then you press the colored lights as a response.

I'm in the machine room but I can't get to the volcano as the door has stuck, the window on the left of the door shows the chamber to be full of water!!!!!!!!!!!!! So how can I get Jep to block the duct??????????
Panic over, I had to close the panel on the machine and the chamber emptied of water and the door opened. On with the game

I'm sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I'm stuck - I'm trying to charm Amber and have already given her flowers, vases, tart. Now I need to catch some fish but can't because Mina keeps telling me she needs to paint the cork red - I know how to do that, problem is, I haven't got the pipe in my inventory to make alcohol. I've been to the beach numerous times but couldn't find that pipe - my guess is that the monkey has stolen it but when I checked, it wasn't in his bag. Is there another way to solve this puzzle? Can I use another item instead of the pipe to make alcohol?

You can always start your own thread and use that for any questions for that game.

As for fishing, you can skip it and still continue the game.
Play the ocarina for Amber. She likes that. Give her fruits or make a bouquet of flower.
If you do get the pipe - she loves perfumes.

Just a reminder:
The pipe is at the beach below the laser puzzle; not at the inlet.
Also check all tabs of inventory.
I don't know what item can replace the pipe.
Maybe someone else knows.

Thanks MaG, it seems I have lost the pipe - I'll try the ocarina again and see if Amber likes it this time. Sorry for posting on this thread
