Does anyone know if it's likely there will be another Hardy Boys adventure on the pc?

I loved the first one I know there's another one on the ds are they just focusing on releasing on that platform. How are the games on ds are they the same as the adventure for the pc.

I'm thinking of taking the plunge and getting a ds for xmas there seems to be a hell of a lot of games I'm missing out on without having one and there's at least 8 or so that I would like to play now and can't cos exclusive to ds.

Edit This
Just seen on gamefaqs that there is supposed to be one called The Perfect Crime was this the hidden object one?

Here is the Perfect Crime. Yes, it is a HOG game and not an adventure.

I have not heard of any other PC releases coming.

Ah I was all excited as well. I vaguely remember playing that but it was in a whirlwind when I had many games on the go cos I got the new gaming laptop you see.

I thought it sounded vaguely familiar but with it being listed as adventure on gamefaqs I was hopeful that it was an actual adventure.

Oh well it's cleared it up then at least I suppose. Not the news I was hoping for tho the hidden object ones aren't as good as the adventures

There won't likely be any more Hardy Boys adventure games. The Perfect Crime started as an adventure game much like The Hidden Theft, but once the Adventure Company saw the return vs. investment benefit of HOG games there was no turning back. Very much the same thing happened with the Agatha Christie series.

welcome Scott,

That is so sad. So the A is fading in TAC?

Some people bought the Hardy Boys and Agatha Christie HOGs thinking they were adventure games. I wonder if those numbers will hold up once the customer is better informed as to the recent changes in the series.

The game titles are very confusing when you try to figure out if a game is adventure or a hog. You have to check those discriptions very carefully to avoid buying the wrong type of game. I've seen tons of HOG at Walmart and Target that the unsuspecting game player would pick up and think their adventures.

I think Becky makes a good point about the informed customer catching on to the recent changes,we will have to wait and see what happens.

Drat. Can't we all boycott hidden object games. I think it's becoming a bit saturated soon there's flipping loads of them now it's hard to locate the better ones.

They'll have to change their name to THOGC.
(pronounced "thoggick" I suppose)

TAC charges adventure game prices for HOG's ($19.99 for PC, more for DS). The $6.99 that Big Fish charges is much closer to what they're worth -- and Big Fish offers one thing that TAC has long forgotten about -- customer support. Big Fish even offers you your choice of another game if they can't help you get the one you bought working.

Sorry for the slight offtopic.

I never buy from TAC and their customer support is the pits if you do(I did in the past and regreted it) BFG has the best price going for their games and their support team will bend over backwards to hep you.
