Could you please send me a save after the axe and blade sharpening in the saw mill. I sharpened the axe ok but when I get the blade from inventory the grindstone stops working.

Can you please tell me what you trying to do?
Just to clarify - you already sharpened the axe.
Are you trying to sharpen the rusty saw blade?
Have you started the pedal to get the grindstone turning?
Then use the rusty sawblade on the rotating grindstone?

yes, I've done all this and got the grindstone turning but when I click on my inventory to get the blade the grindstone stops and when I then go to click on the pedal again it will not re start. I should add that I am playing this game through Big Fish Games and wonder if there is a glitch in the game

Just to be sure - is the nail on the grindstone to hold it in place?
I don't think it's the BF game glitch.

I can't remember if Mina comments on the blade being rusty. Can you try that.
I want to know why you're being held up here.
Have you cut the trees already from the forest?

The nail is in place holding the grindstone.I even tried putting the unsharpened blade back and Mina commented that it needed to be honed first. I have cut the trees from the forest and got the Trulca fruit and taken the logs back to the saw mill. My fear is that I've missed something obvious but I have read the walkthrough closely and all seems to be in order. The critical part is the action of clicking inventory to get the blade when I have the grindstone turning. It is this that stops the wheel turning. I hear it stop as soon as I click the inventory

Send me your saved game. Maybe I can find out what happened and also not change your gameplay.
I checked I don't have a saved game right on this spot.

Bob, have you tried just exiting the game and restarting?

I just tried it again, and my game is also from BFG, and I was able to put the grindstone on, the nail in, then click on the foot pedal to start it, then RC for inventory, pick the sawblade, exit inventory, click sawblade on grindstone.

I have done it, after about three days trying. I don't know why it worked as I haven't done anuything different as far as I know.
Thank you for the help and advice you gave me and to Looney4Labs for sending me a saved game. I just wish I could have come up with a definitive reason to solve the problem.

I'm stuck again. Playing as Jep I have got past Leonard and to the palm tree and back again. I am now back in front of Leonard with the turquoise triangle painted behind him. I have the turquoise paint brush and reunited with Mina. I am told to paint the drawing Leonard did on the wall inside the vine. Where do I do this?. I cannot get Mina in front of the wall where Leonard was.

It is at the cliff wall at the beach.
It is the vine where you got the turquoise paint.

Done the drawing. I was looking at the drawing behind Leonard, don't ask me why. Now I'm at the right place by the beach it's really quite easy. Why didn't I think of that?

Hope its ok to piggyback onto this thread, but I am stuck trying to make white paint, I have made the lime and added it to the water, but I dont have any chalk, I have checked the W/T but I cant find out where I get the chalk from, have I missed it somewhere, any help appreciated

Journal: Read the journal completely. We will follow procedures from this journal.

Read documents about stone mason level: a square, plumb line and better if a sight is fitted.

Take red pigments, grindstone, plumb or weight, rusty axe and chalk.

Sorry for the late reply, it looks like Leonard has stolen it, I have retrieved the small stick from his stash, but I cant get passed him since I gave him the paint the first time, is there another way to get the chalk back from him

Am having the same exact problem as Bob with the grindstone not working. I have exited and reentered multiple times but the Gremlins still have control.

Hi same problem here. i can get the saw plate and Nail on but can't get it to sharpen. tried 2 Days and no Luck. Restarted several time with no luck.
Any Ideas what to do next?
