Hi lulu,

Did you maybe open the cabinet earlier in the game, before you needed to? If so, all you need do is left-click on the cabinet and it should open.

Yes, that's right. You need to turn on the light first in order to see the key. Maybe double check that you did pick it up? Once the light is on, it's on a shelf to the far right.

Be sure that you have read the Musical Notation book, looked close at both lampshades and read the journa.

Then you follow the pictures in the walkthrough.
Start first at left side of the keyboard and click on the numbered keys on the picture.
Then go to the right side of the keyboard and play the numbered keys. luck

Play the keys where the numbers are placed. They are all white keys.

Be sure that play at left side first and then right side.

No - no speed necessary as long as you clicked on the correct keys in right order-sequence.

Be sure that you have read the Musical Notation book, looked close at both lampshades and read the journal.

Will you persevere, or would you prefer a saved game past this puzzle? smile

Persevere as in would you rather carry on and try to solve the puzzle on your own with or without the walkthrough? Or have a save game sent to you?

The saved game folder is in My Documents.

I'll send the save to you with instructions how to install it. On its way to you in a few minutes. luck
