I am towards the end...in the cave trying to repair the motor. I have used the axe to get the crystal off the wall. When I try to place the crystal in the lage kiln I am unable to do so. Do I need to put the crystal in something before putting it in the kiln?

Thanks,
pjones6708

Hi pjones,

It's not the crystal which needs to go into the kiln, but the twisted crystal holder, which you might already have picked up from the pool of water close to the room entrance.

Thanks for you help...I am stuck again.

I am at the end of the game. I am at the mixer. I am unable to clean the mixer. I have Jep's sample but I am unable to put the eyepiece on the mixer til I clean it.

Thanks,

pjones6708

You should be able to place the eyepiece before cleaning the mixer. Check that you've done the following:

Go to the ovoids and turn to the face.

See that the magenta gas is over flowing now under the green gas.

Use the recently made plain bottle on the magenta gas to get colored gas in bottle.

Place the colored gas in bottle on the end of the mixer.

Now there are cyan, magenta and yellow bottles attached to the setup.

Place the violet bottle underneath the large glass

Place the eyepiece on the metal arm above the large glass.

Look through the eyepiece and see that it has decomposed tissue in there.

Press the red button to pass UV light on the setup and sterilize it.

luck

I have done all of that ,I even did it again just to be sure.
I still cannot clean the mixer. It will not let me put the eyepiece with Jep's sample til I clean the mixer. Is it something with the ultra violet light that maybe I am not doing?...it flickers when I press the red button ,but it the light does not stay on. How else can I clean it?

Please help..

Another member had a similar problem a while back. Here's what MaG advised:

You made 2 bulbs:

One was from the broken pieces of violet glass.

The other is a clear bulb. This clear bulb is filled with magenta glass and should be placed at the bottom part of the set up.

The violet bulb you made from the broken pieces is the one that goes under neath the setup.

Check where you placed the bulbs. Maybe you have interchanged.

NO - you do not place any gas inside the violet bulb made from the broken pieces.

You should have made 2 glasses: one is violet bottle and the other one is plain bottle.
You use the plain bottle on the magenta gas to get 'colored gas in bottle'.

Now you use the:
- violet bottle under that setup. It will be the small bulb underneath the whole setup.
This is the one that cleans the mixer.
- the colored gas in bottle is placed at one end of the setup (not under).

Now that you have the UV (ultraviolet) under the whole setup - press that red button to sterilize the setup.
