I am having difficulty following the direction of the Viennese Waltz given by Arriaga's parrot in the sewer maze. After turning right or left, I am facing a wall and have to improvise. Please help as I am desperate to finish the game.

Go: Forward (you already did this from the gate) - left - forward - right - right - left - forward - forward - right - right - forward - left - left - right - left. luck

I did that and hit the wall. My head hurts from continuously banging it. I have started over 15+ times from the gate.

Just wonder - are you starting the maze at the 'EXIT' part of the sewer?
Check the map and see the different 'jump to' locations.

I followed your directions. However, when I arrive at the 2nd left, I am at a wall, so I have to go left/right rather than forward.

Hi YaYa,

I've checked several walkthroughs and searched for a gameplay video which might help you, but have come up a blank. I remember this maze being a little tricky also. You might need a saved game to get you past this point. Let's wait and see what other folks have to say first. smile

Thank you. I will keep trying with the hope that someone will help me. It certainly is frustrating to be so close to the end.

I have some saves but not labeled.
I sent you several and see which one works for you.

I believe I've got it, Holmes! Thank you so very much. I never thought that I would be so happy to be in a prison(in the game, of course).
Thank you again for your help.

I am having a really weird problem. I just downloaded the demo version of this game.

The game starts at the "Plaza De La Mancha" After I move forward once I get a funny cursor that has a triangle with a compass looking thing right below it. When I ever I click it goes to a map. I am unable to get beyond that point as the map takes me back to where I started from. If I click again I go back to the map again.

Any thoughts or ideas?

I Love Adventure Games. If only I could do them.

Hi Alan,

You can turn around by holding down your left mouse button and panning to either left or right.

Thank You that did it.

I feel kind of silly now but I don't recall ever seeing that type of interface before.

Yes, in most other games that involve panning you don't have to hold down the mouse button.

Enjoy the game. smile
