Hi ladyjane, You should be able to fill your watering can from the spring in the grassy ruins area. This is the location you enter after exiting left of the archaeologist's trailer. Click on the spring at right of screen for a close-up view, then use the watering can on it.

Yikes! I have a save around this point, hopefully with the watering can filled and ready to use. On its way to you now.

Thanks so much,(by the way I ended up reinstalling the game minus "patch" because it would not take the save otherwise!)I am now at the back of the gallery looking for the light switch frantically, any wisdom to share?

Thanks MaG,Iam at the end in the chamber attempting to move the pillars so that they have the correct symbols on them, problem is that whatever pillar I go to try and move Sylvie says they wont budge she has to take a closer look? Also I did not keep the documents out of the safe she said they had to go back? What to do?
I went back and reread docs in notes, then put the stones on 1st before moving them that did it!!
Finished But sorry its over
