I have D/L this one today and will give it a look. It might offer some familiar scenes to those who are familiar with Chicago. We shall see. So far the graphics are clear and it doesn't look too difficult. Its going to be a pleasant change from being lost on another island. Seems we have had several of those lately.

Played the hour. It seemed like a run of the mill HOG. No thanks.

Played the demo from Spin Top. Glad that BF got this so quickly. Downloaded it today. So far, so good.

Boo! frown Despite the Chicago connection, this game ended up being a big disappointment. After I paid for and downloaded the full game, I had about an hour's more play - and I'm no HOG wizard. I guess if I hadn't played the free demo I wouldn't know the difference. This game ended up being as much a waste of time as "Shutter Island".

Sparkle,
Do you mean the game was a "waste of time" because it was short? In your earlier post you seemed to be quite happy with the game, so what made you change your mind? As for the game being short, I count that a big plus for the game. I dislike those games that drag on until they go from interesting to boring! Long is not a good thing in a HOG as it means you get to redo the early scenes over and over to make the games last and that is no fun at all, at least not for me.

I've lived in a Chicago northwest suburb for going on 20 years now, but I spent 3/4 of my life in and around Chicago and, truth be told, am still a Chicagoan at heart.

I bought the game mainly to see how the typical gangster view of Chicago would play out 'cause it always bugs me that mobsters and violence are all people seem to think about when they refer to Chicago. Yes, the game was simple and easily played but it was worth it to me to watch the cute, interesting ending which seems to try to debunk the usual Chicago scenario.

Run of the mill HOG to me as well, and you're also stuck with a timer. Going to pass on this one myself.

The warning sign goes on the barrel in the front/right part of the screen per NanaLoona on BigFish forum.
