Hi Boomers , Game, Baby and otherwise, thought you might like to know: Slip Space: The Burma-Shave Analogy is complete and available for download.
The game was finished in early January. Since then, I've worked out a way to deliver it to players in a safe and reliable fashion.
Randy Sluganski of JustAdventure.com previewed it about a year ago and aptly described it as having "Rhem-like puzzles in a Myst-like atmosphere."
Beyond that I'm also proud of the way the story develops through a series of hallucinations the player experiences.
If you're a cognitive gamer who loves immersive environments, challenging puzzles and an intriguing story, I'd love to invite you into the Slip-Space Universe.

I am playing Slip Space right now and I have to tell you...WOW... is this my kind of game. If you are into logical, point and click, solo exploration games like Rhem, Schizm with a little Drowned God and the Dark Eye thrown in then this game is worth a try.

Rhem like in Myst sounds horrible. Sorry not my cup of tea as they say.

I wrote the third one specifically to clarify that Slip Space: The Burma-Shave Analogy falls into a sub-genre of adventure that in some way could be called a Myst-clone. Clearly then, if one knows that they don't like that style then my article could be taken as a warning to avoid it and in part that is what it was. At the same time there are fans of Rhem, Myst, Alida, Schizm and others who have recently been underserved and it is that niche of players that I hope to attrack to my game.
So Guybrush, understand that I've already made an honest effort to warn you off the game.

Well, Slip Space put me on the side of --- I'm going to play that game. I liked Myst- really liked Rhem and am now playing URU..... So thanks for giving us another one of those kind of games!!!!

Hi Yankee Clipper: I have no plan to offer this in any way other than a download. You are not going to lose anything going the download route. So far, one customer had a problem and got a bit frustrated and I was able to instantly refund his purchase right at PayPal. If he hadn't got frustrated, I still could have fixed his download problem. If you want to play this game, go for it. I'll fully stand behind it.

I believe once you pay a cookie is installed on your computer and all you have to do is go to the games web page and you will see a Download Button on the left near the top. Click it and you are on your way.

Hi. Thank you for your help. Everything is working, got the download and I've been getting into the game. Very intriguing.

Im having problems finding where to download the game. I went thru paypal and got confirmation but cant find where to DL it??

Greyfuss stated you can click on the download picture/link at top left of the main page here after the cookie has been installed - done when payment is made.

i saw that earlier but i think i might have had cookies blocked maybe because all i get is when i hit download is same thing i went thru when i purchased it... not the actual DL

Hi HooKedOn7 You're having the same problem BubbaJaked had. I got your email and I sent you an email with the fix. I'm going to look into this cookie problem. Too many of my customers are having this problem and even though we're solving it, it's not providing the instant gratification we're after.

I just spent 20 minutes downloading the game and now I can't find it anywhere. Is mine the same problem? Could you please send me the fix, if so, or help me find the game if not. I did have to "stop" the page after the download because my screen was flashing uncontrollably and it was frozen. Thank you! Gaily.
