Barbara,I'm glad I'm not the only one. Will keep on trying, will let you know if I get it. I think we have to have some smiles and click on the D. Checked the cheat but not much help. Did you click on the little piece of paper on the left side? Richard

Okay this is what I did....I just don't know if I can explain it well enough for you.....hopefully I can. So D=smile; curve=S; tongue out=p; teeth=e; sad=c; open mouth=o; straight=I etc. Click on the letter that corresponds to the particlar face on the screen, the rays of the sun will remain when you click the right one. Hope this makes sense. Barbara

Hi Barbara, no luck yet. I can't move fast enought to click on all the music notes. I guess there are six of them. Been clicking on the notes for two days now I guess it's time to retire the game. My finger is pretty sore now. It was still a good game up to that point. Sorry, Thanks Richard

I can't manage to click fast enough to defeat Polonius, either.
I'm going to have my son (arcade genre expert) complete it. Kind of disappointing that this "logic puzzle" game completely switched directions and changed into an arcade game.
Was enjoying up until that point.

to GameBoomers, cakefordinner. It's a shame that this section of the game is causing difficulties. If anyone has gotten through that part and has any good tips for success, it would be great if they could post them here.

Thanks for the welcome, Rushes. Actually, did manage to get through it by cheating. I bribed my arcade-game expert son to do it. LOL! After watching him, and both of us figuring out exactly what to do/look for, I think I may be able to do it when I play again. Also may not (fingers crossed; he's SO irritable, even with a bribe. LOL) need his help later in the game. Actually do have some tips (2, so far) I posted elsewhere (for beating Polonius and for the lock on Ophelia's cage). No clue if it's kosher to say where, so only will if asked/told it's okay. Probably can say, if you Google: "Hamlet Tips" (no quote marks) you'll find it (second link). Feel much better about the game, now, and look forward to playing the rest of it. Still think the arcade part was a little too much of an aberration for a mainly logic-puzzle game, but not unhappy I got it. btw, if needed/wanted/kosher, I CAN probably share my tips here, too. Just need the 411 (how/where; also most of my tips usually have graphics included), since I'm new here and this is only my 2nd (3rd?) post.

Great that your son got you through the tricky bit. As it seems to be the arcade section that most people are having trouble with right now, any tips in that direction would be great. As and when members need a nudge for other puzzles, we always appreciate good help from those who have played the game. We try not to include large screenshots/graphics in posts, due to bandwidth. Small screenshots are usually ok, or weblinks.

In that case, Rushes, here are links to 2 tips I posted. The first is for the lock puzzle (unlocking Ophelia's cage - graphics aren't as good as I'd wish due to the limitations at the site) and the second (text only) is for tips on defeating Polonius. I'll get back to the game, soon, and will probably have more help in the coming week. 1. Hamlet: Tips for Unlocking Ophelia's Cage 2. Hamlet: Tips for beating Polonius (first boss) Hope these help.
