I am trying to kill the alien that is a worm like bug & stationary and it spawns the aliens that attack on the ground. (I think this is refered to as the spore tower?) I understand that you are to hit the weak spots to bring it down, the spots that are glowing. Well, It seems I run out of ammunition in all my weapons before I can get him down. The area I am in has no ammo that I can pick up. I also noticed that there is no god mode for the game to get me passed this. I did notice though that their is a save game cheat. Does anyone know what this cheat is? If it is saves from all the checkpoints, wouldn't I miss out on all that happens before I would have gotten to the checkpoint that I load?
Note: I am on the roof of the infirmary I believe and it's the alien that turns its back on you so you have to jump down off the roof to get to the front of it where the weak spots are.

Went to the site and Wow!!! what a game - just my kind and have been looking for some more fps's. Love those shooters. Where do you find out about games like this - I've never heard of it but one will be with me soon. Thanks you 2.
Other good shooters are the Resistance games(PS3 only) and Killzone games

Well I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. To pick up a weapon you obviously can't just click on the middle mouse, it appears that you have to hold it down until the weapon is picked up. And now that I was able to get the correct weapon I was able to finally kill the beast. Great game!

I finished the game. It was fun, but it was the shortest FPS game I have ever played in my life. I thought it was just getting started and it was over.

Not so. I got killed so many times.
I was going to start Area 51 (the first game) but I could not get it to run on Vista so I restored my old Windows XP computer today. Glad I was able to cause I am so tired of things not running on Vista.
